be quiet! Adds Out-of-the-box LGA1700 Support to Most Coolers

be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components, is announcing that as of today, almost all air and liquid coolers in its portfolio are shipping out with a reworked mounting kit that offers full support for Intel's LGA 1700 socket. Since last year, be quiet! supports most of its CPU cooler portfolio with LGA 1700 mounting kits. Customers who provide proof of ownership of a compatible be quiet! cooler and motherboard or CPU receive the mounting kits free of charge. Almost all of these coolers now come with full LGA 1700 support out of the box.

All Silent Loop 2 models will be shipped with the upgraded mounting kits in the summer. be quiet! will continue offering separate LGA 1700 mounting kits for the models listed above to customers that need them. be quiet! has also decided to rework its Pure Rock Slim 2 cooler to include LGA 1700 compatible mounting. The reworked mounting system utilizes a push-pin system and will be implemented in the coming months. be quiet! will offer upgrade kits for existing Pure Rock Slim 2 coolers as well.

Bought ShadowRock LP knowing that lol. It was listed on most shop sites anyways.

Still, installation of that thing is complicated af.

Same for the Dark Rock Pro 4. Why BQ couldn't make the cross bar and screws captive (like on the Scythe Mugen 5) is beyond me.

A different size league, but Cryorig C7 also has super ez ones. Just a backplate, 4 hex screws and they attach fitting screwdriver too ofc.

I think it is about time CPU coolers come with out of the box support for all the existing sockets. Alder Lake has been out for quite a number of months, and this is like a very late move.
