AMD Software Adrenalin 22.8.2 Released

AMD today released the AMD Software Adrenalin 22.8.2 beta drivers. These come with optimization for the DirectX 12 mode of "Saints Row," and "The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation." Among the handful issues fixed with this release are VCE presets mixing with Vegas Pro in machines with Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards; DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 crashing with AMD encoder on machines with RX 6000 series graphics cards; a display flickering issue noticed with Lost Ark; and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered failing to launch.

Just one of AMD driver issue has been around so long that there are memes that are designed and expected to be release with each AMD driver announcement.

I couldn't careless about any AMD products but the constant misdirection BS from AMD about its drivers, though, and from its dumb fans, needs to stop ASAP.

FYI for,the previous driver release.

Enhanced Sync improvements have been introduced in the latest version of AMD Software to provide further stability, and a better overall experience with your AMD PC.

That’s said I was trying or out because I liked the FS+ES combo back before it went bad but the games I was playing with crazy FPS was making card get hotter than necessary. But I didn’t have any actual issues leaving it on across quite a few games. Just my main games don’t “need” 300FPS and my card cooking doing it.

Funny thing is, I completed the game long before these update rolls out, with Flawless Widescreen and bunch Nexus Mod. The only thing that insulting obviously Square Enix.

Ermm do you know what misdirection means? because it seems like you are completely contradicting yourself in that weird fanboy tirade.

Zero fan speed should be a choice not a standard setting - not a fan

Same unstable drivers but at least they are admitting a lot more being wrong as before.

It's not just one issue that needs to be fixed. It will stay, as long there are problems reported about it.

So has anyone had install issues like those with 22.7.1 and 22.8.1 where the screen goes blank and doesn't recover and all USB devices lose power and after reboot nothing but problems with web pages displaying videos that cause massive system slow down for 30+ seconds

in the end I had to DDU and go back to 22.6.1 because it just works

I still do not understand why sometimes i can speedrun blackscreens under 1 minute and now im unable to black screen for 10 minutes straight if had times i had no black screens for over 1 hour even and i have firefox running in the background, as if i have 1 of the fastest triggers but dont understand yet what the trigger is.
Only took an hour wanted to test if chipset driver had impact on stability even using AMD own cleanup tool first, makes no difference.

No not even factory overclocked, there are many reporting black screens currently with especially the last 3 drivers some even with the last 4

It does boost to 2,5 ghz but it does this on 22.5.1 to and any previous drivers and is stable.
