MSI today introduced the G244F, a 24-inch Full HD monitor for competitive e-Sports gaming. Featuring a Rapid-IPS panel, the display offers 170 Hz refresh-rate, and 1 ms (GTG) response time, along with AMD FreeSync Premium support, making it a compelling pick in the entry-level. An in-built "Console Mode" drives the display at 120 Hz, and has been tested to work on the PlayStation 5. Other key specs include 178° viewing angles in any direction, 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, flicker-free brightness adjustments, and blue-light filtering. Connectors include two HDMI 2.0b, and one DisplayPort 1.2a.
