Cooler Master Also Rolls Out the Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit V3
Besides the MasterBox 520 series cases today, Cooler Master also announced the Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit V3 (model: MCA-U000R-KFVK03). This accessory converts the horizontal add-on card slots of an ATX case into vertical slots, letting you show off your graphics card. You can even use it with Micro-ATX Cases, but you could run into clearance issues with adjascent case-fans. The accessory includes a 16.5 cm-long PCI-Express 4.0 x16 riser cable, and supports graphics cards up to 3 slots thick. The riser cable uses tinned-copper 30 AWG wiring with high-grade insulation, while the structure of the holder is made of SGCC steel. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cosmetic improvements, a whole new exercise in futility. Oh nice, you can see the fan of my graphics card.... and a massive hunk of extra metal to show it. Look at the fan, it actually works! zomg111!One
Tbh some card designs look like as if they were meant to be vertically mounted. 'Gigabyte has multiple cards like that'
I asked him if he would be interested in buying my EVGA FTW 3 GTX 1070 and he was like nope that doesn't look that good vertically and I was like what this thing has leds all over the place. 'Personally I prefer the side look of the card anyway'
Probably a niche use case but that does exist, even tho he knows that hes getting much worse temps in his specific case 'lian li lancool 1' but he doesn't care cause its all about the looks for him.
I think hes using some cheapo vertical mount kit from Aliexpress, it works I guess.
