€60 is a ripoff. I just bought an exactly similar unit from Sabrent for £25 about two weeks ago.

Why gimp it with a USB 3.2 bus? What a waste to put an NVMe drive in this.

It's 2023. These enclosures should have USB4.

Awesome!
This might be the most important feature ever implemented in a drive enclosure!
I don't know why nobody thought of this before. This must be the most revolutionary invention of the decade or even the century!
Why did we spent decades carrying portable disks inside our backpacks when we could just tie them to the outside!

This spoiler tag is for those unfamiliar with sarcasm.

I'm planning to use my Sabrent box to keep a fresh Windows installation with drivers on it, so instead of doing a fresh install, I can just clone the drive over to the one in my PC (or other PCs). :)

USB 3.2 is plenty fast for this purpose.

Not necessarily, depending on usage. There are super cheap NVMe drives that can work well as flash storage with this speed.
I am more concerned that 10Gbps chip and enclosure is sold for for such high price. It's more about aesthetics, I guess. Uber and cool.
€60 enclosure should have minimum 20 Gbps speed in 2023, as Thunderbolt enclosures with 40 Gbps are not too far away up in price.
GFreeman1000 Mbps
Please correct this. It either 10 Gbps or 1000 MB/s or 1GB/s
