Focus Entertainment Releases Story Trailer for Aliens: Dark Descent
Today, Focus Entertainment and Tindalos Interactive, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, revealed a gripping Story Trailer for Aliens: Dark Descent. The strategic, real-time, squad-based, tactical action game set in the iconic Alien universe lands June 20 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Pre-orders are available on all platforms and grant the Lethe Recon Pack as a reward. Prepare for a terrifying original Alien tale
In Aliens: Dark Descent, players take on real-time combat against iconic Xenomorphs and brand new threats. Using a range of tactical abilities, they recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines as one unit with intuitive controls on keyboard & mouse as well as on controller. Players will need to use their wits to navigate expansive, persistent and reactive levels where death is permanent. This thrilling gameplay takes place as heart-pounding events unfold the horrors and wonders of an authentic Alien narrative through a cinematic campaign full of sinister secrets.The nightmare begins when the Otago spacecraft crash lands on Moon Lethe. The crew of Colonial Marines investigates the Xenomorph outbreak that activated the Cerberus Protocol—the planetary lockdown that is keeping them stranded. The player is their squad commander, leading them through a nerve-wracking experience against iconic Xenomorph creatures—from Facehuggers to Praetorians, Alien Queens and many more—as well as rogue human commandos and a brand-new threat. A cast of memorable characters set the plot in motion, notably Maeko Hayes, Deputy Administrator at Lethe's Pioneer Station; Jonas Harper, Sergeant for the US Colonial Marines; and Barbara Pryce, Colony Director for the Weyland-Yutani.

When it's just Aliens and Marines, it's just boring. Another "horde mode".
When the PRedator is around, it's definitely more exciting.
