Zalman to launch two new VGA coolers

Above, you can see the Zalman ZM-90 HP. The cooler is made from aluminum, and should be capable of cooling today's mid-range graphic cards.

The VF1000 is an active cooler manufactured from aluminum using four heat-pipes. Don't be deceived by its apparently small size: it will be capable of cooling GeForce 8800 GTX.

Zalman will probably release some slim memory coolers that fit right on it, but you're right. I don't see much clearance on the vf1000. The 80HP would probably be the better option if you're really worried about memory performance.

Then again, all you really need is airflow. If you really want an all-in-one solution, Arctic Cooling might be better. If you're really looking to push the limits, you might as well just bite the bullet and go watercooled.

Bah. Should of made the base and heatpipes out of Copper on the VF1000... give it a few months. I bet that change will be Zalmans "new" VF1100 cooler. :\
