Sharkoon Announces Rebel P30 Gold 80 Plus PSU with 12VHPWR Connection

Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-quality, high-performance PC components and peripherals. Sharkoon is now widening its product range with a fully modular 80 Plus Gold certified power supply unit that, along with a PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connection, offers full compatibility with the ATX 3.0 standard. The Rebel P30 Gold is available in three models, each with a black housing and a maximum power of either 850 watts, 1,000 watts or 1,300 watts. Another model is available with a white housing and a maximum power of 1,000 watts.

Regardless of their wattage, all versions of the Rebel P30 Gold have a modern PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connection, which is required for the operation of current high-end graphics cards. The PSUs of this series all come with modular cable sets, allowing the cables to be used as and when they are needed. A total of twelve SATA connections are available, while the cable sets of the 850- and 1,000-watt models each offer up to four 6+2-pin PCIe connections - the 1,300-watt model even offers up to eight. Two IDE connections and a floppy connection are also available using the included adapters.
All Protections Included
Apart from the 80 Plus Gold certification, and for reliable safety, the Rebel P30 power supply units are all equipped with over-current protection, over- and under-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and over-power protection. For further reliability, the manufacturer has equipped the Rebel P30 Gold with all-Japanese capacitors as well as DC/DC and patented LLC resonant-converter technologies.

Additional Functions for Cool Operation
To dissipate heated air and provide a quiet operation, the PSUs use a 135-millimeter fan with a fluid dynamic bearing. For even quieter running, the fan rotation can be deactivated during moderate power loads using the Zero RPM mode. A switch allows this mode to be switched on or off as desired. The fan mode keeps the fan running for up to 60 seconds after the PC system has been shut down in order to further enhance the cooling process of the hardware.

Price and Availability
The Rebel P30 Gold with 1,000 watts, in the color versions black or white, is now available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 219 euros. The 1,300-watt model is now available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 239 euros. The model rated at 850 watts will shortly be available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 159 euros.

Funny that in their website all of the white version marketing material has white cables (with black connectors), but in the gallery there's the pouch with black cables.
