Ocypus Releases New Iota, Beta, Gama, and Delta Power Supply Series

Ocypus today announced the new PSU lineup, the Iota series, the Delta series, the Gamma series and the Beta series, abundant PSU lineups for gaming PC setups. The lineup ranges from 400 W to 1200 W, with high-end series support the new ATX 3.1 standard and 80 Plus Gold certification. It ensures compatibility with a wide range of PC builds, from entry-level to high performance setups, meeting different user needs.

Iota Series
The Iota series power supply inherits the classic dot-matrix element from Ocypus, while incorporating a smooth, straight-edge design that balances both texture and aesthetics. It meets the latest Intel ATX 3.1 standard, natively supports PCI-e 5.1, supports up to 600 W power output on a single channel, and comes equipped with the new 12 V-2X6. It passes 80 Plus Gold certification, with a maximum power conversion efficiency of up to 91%. Inside, it features a range of flagship-grade architectures and 100% high-quality Japanese capacitors, ensuring stable and efficient power output. Also, it includes ECO intelligent start-stop function, a full modular design, and embossed crafted cables, making it easy to start.
Delta Series
The Delta Series power supplies are built with the latest ATX 3.1 standard, natively supporting PI-e 5.1. It features the new 12V-2x6 and supports up to 450 W power output on a single channel. It is 80 Plus Bronze certified, with a conversion efficiency of up to 87%. Equipped with high-quality Japanese bulk capacitor and utilizes Active PFC, Double Forward, and DC to DC architectures, supporting a global input voltage range of 100-240 V. Also, it comes with a 120 mm hydraulic fan that supports smart thermal control, automatically adjusting the fan speed based on the load conditions to ensure long-lasting, stable operation.

Gamma Series
The Gamma series power supply is 80 Plus 230 V EU WHITE certified, boasting conversion efficiency greater than 85% at 50% load. It features DC-DC architecture which is rare in power supplies of the same level, and is integrated with Taiwan bulk capacitor. Additionally, it comes with thermal control function, providing stable and reliable operation.

Beta Series
Beta series power supplies feature ATX 2.53 standard and non-modular design. Equipped with Active PFC, Double tube forward architectures and high-quality Taiwan bulk capacitor, it also comes with intelligent thermal control function, automatically adjusting the fan speed based on the different load conditions, providing efficient energy conversion and long-term stable operation.

The market already has 1 trillion quality power supplies, it doesn't need another one, specially from a brand that won't ship it with a 10 year warranty like other competitors will. What's the point in making it 15 dollars cheaper if people interested in the 750W/1250W range are probably spending over a grand in their setups?
What the market does need is good budget (40/65 dollars from 500 to 650) power supplies with good (5 years) warranty accompanied by technical reviews (which is the same as marketing), but I doubt these companies are interested in such slim profit margins
