Sharkoon Announces SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebone Keyboard

Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance, high-quality PC components and peripherals. Sharkoon has now supplemented its hot-swap capable keyboard, the SKILLER SGK50 S4, with a fully customizable model that comes without keycaps and switches. Like the original SKILLER SGK50 S4, this Barebone model will also be available as a version in black or white, and there are versions that are designed for either ANSI or ISO keyboard layouts.

As the name suggests, the SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebone is a keyboard that is stripped down to the essentials, with no switches or keycaps. The keyboard's circuit board is hot-swappable and compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches to make the right choice possible for any user requirement or taste. The user can also swap out the keycaps at any time and freely choose the shape and material from amongst all the keycaps which are available on the market. The suitable tools for replacing the switches and keycaps are already supplied with the keyboard.
Available with ISO and ANSI Compatibility
The manufacturer has also put importance on having a broad range of compatibility when it comes to the choice of possible keyboard layouts. The SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebone is, therefore, not only configured for the widely used ANSI layouts, but there is also a version available for ISO layouts, enabling the use of layouts that are found in most European and South American countries.

Stylish Appearance
Like the original model, the Barebone model has a size which is 60 percent of a normal three-block keyboard. These compact dimensions not only provide for more freedom of movement on the tabletop, but the keyboard itself should make an attractive appearance in any setup. Here, the keyboard aims to score points with its chic spiral cable, which is a typical feature of the SKILLER SGK50 series, and with its easy-to-program RGB illumination that offers various lighting effects.

Easy Macro Recording
Like the original model of the SKILLER SGK50 S4, the Barebone versions also do without software. Two macros, each with up to 16 actions, can be easily set up on the keyboard using just a few key combinations. The macros can be overwritten whenever necessary.

Price and Availability
The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebone is now available as either a black or a white version at the manufacturer's suggested price of 49,90 euros.

Wish every barebone kit would include at least ONE picture with keys....like when you buy furniture you have to assemble, they don't just show you pictures of parts in the product page.
