Patriot PDC PC2-10100 2GB Memory Kit - Sneak Peek

Patriot Memory, a division of PDP Systems Inc, is about to one-up Corsair's Dominator TWIN2X2048-10000C5DF series with their upcoming PDC22G10100ELK PC2-10100 memory kit. Patriot's PDC22G10100ELK kit consists of a matched pair of 1GB modules (2GB total), rated for operation at 1262.5MHz with 5-5-5-18 timings and 2.3V operational voltage. At these settings, that makes the PDC22G10100ELK kit a touch faster than Corsair's current flagship. Patriot expects to deliver their new memory kits at a $350-$400 price point, which is considerably more affordable than some other high performance kits. As a top-quality product, all PDC22G10100ELK PC2-10100 memory kits will come with a lifetime warranty.

what's next ? PC10200

i'd credit them for doing healthy competition ONLY if they'd bring significant (this is the key word) performance improvement.

Those ram modules should have stayed in the experimentation field, imho they are anecdotic at best

Well, considering these run at the same latencies, at 12.5 more Mhz, with .1v less, fanless, all for less money, I'd say it's significant.
