Titan Army Gaming Monitors Start Selling in the US

Titan Army is a Chinese gaming monitor brand that's been making waves in Asia due to their incredible value for the features on offer. The company uses Fast IPS and curved VA panels to offer resolutions and refresh rates from a segment above, at a given price range. The brand is now making inroads to the US market, and is now available on Amazon. The company dipped its toes into the US market with three well priced monitor models.

At the top, is the B0CKVPB31C, a 32-inch curved 16:9 monitor with WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 95% DCI-P3 coverage, 1500R curvature, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Plus. All this, for $299. At the same price, the company is also selling the B0CKVL7KMZ, a 27-inch flatscreen monitor with the same WQHD resolution as its 32-inch curved sibling, but with faster 180 Hz refresh rate using a Fast IPS panel. For under $200, the company is selling the B0CKVL38N5, a 24-inch flatscreen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, but with 100 Hz fresh rate using a Fast IPS panel. All three models are now available on Amazon, some regions could see a checkbox coupon that shaves $20 to $40 off.

I was expecting lower prices out of a nobody-brand. Top brands today offer 1440p 27" curved gaming monitors for those kinds of prices. Even stuff like the Samsung G5 1440p is offered at 275 dollars.

I guess being a nobody brand means that they get meh pricing from the panel makers, so the final product doesn't end up being competitive.

I am not really sold on the whole chinese "supposed-to-be-a-bargain" brands that cost the same as comparable offerings from better known brands.

I would not count a G5 as a top offering from Samsung though

{DEITY}, yes. I have two 27" G7 and they have some of the most buggy firmware I have ever experienced in a monitor (yes, they are updated to the latest version).

I will not touch another Samsung monitor with the 100,00 ft pole mentioned above.

Hummm, all 7 Sammy monitors in my house, as well as the 4 TV's, 2x fridges, dishwasher, gas range, and freezer have had zero issues from day 1......although a few of them immediately connected to my network, downloaded and installed the most recent firmware updates, right out of the box...neveranottaproblemo !

Guess I'm just lucky :D
