The Thaumaturge Gets AMD FSR 3 Treatment, Due for Launch February 20

AMD FSR 3 Is Coming To The Thaumaturge—a Gripping and Dark RPG. The Thaumaturge is a story-driven RPG with morally ambiguous choices, taking place in the culturally diverse world of early 20th century Warsaw. In this world, Salutors exist: esoteric beings that only Thaumaturges can truly perceive and use for their needs. The Thaumaturge launches February 20th, with AMD FSR 3. Watch the brand new story trailer below.

When it launches later this month, The Thaumaturge will feature AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3. FSR 3 transforms gaming experiences with massive and responsive framerates in supported games using a combination of temporal upscaling technology, advanced frame generation, and built-in latency reduction technology.
Check out the Quest Trailer and watch a few minutes of gameplay along with a commentary from the developers!

This particular quest, titled "To Dust, You Shall Return," unfolds across several locations in Warsaw, which was under the yoke of Russian rule at the time. Poles, Russians, and Jews all coexisted within the city's borders as it flourished culturally and architecturally before WWII, making it the perfect setting for an RPG. First stop? The elegant Imperial Hotel, where Wiktor meets Swietłana, a member of the Tsar's court desperate to escape the city.

We—Fool's Theory and 11 bit studios—invite players to step into the gritty streets of 1905 Warsaw our upcoming isometric RPG, The Thaumaturge. Taking center stage as our thaumaturge, Wiktor Szulski is the kind of guy who won't think twice about diving into the darkest corners of the city to investigate and stand up against the Russian Okhrana who controls its streets. In this quest trailer—using his thaumaturgy powers and the might of his otherworldly salutors to lend a helping hand—Wiktor will aid a damsel in distress who is in crucial need of assistance.

I truly don't care for the fake frame gen, but the game looks promising.
