:wtf: sure.. but no software is better, imo

Anyway, I do find the price a bit too steep for such a 60% keyboard. Or maybe the added cost is that 'stability' thing.
All considered worth a test, @Nomad76

Not a fan of web-based #anything, neither over apps and so on, however, many enjoy those. Price-wise, it seems a bit on the high end, true. On my end, I kinda love that retro-new look

Don't like regular height mechanical keyboards, hate how my wrist sorta bends using them. I love my Keychron K1 SE. So if they ever make a low profile version with HE switches consider me very interested.

Good to see more alternatives to WOOTING out there. I personally have a WE80 on order but this is nice to see

No function keys, so I guess this is only a gaming keyboard, and web based software is terrible at this price.
Also IMO the trend of gasket mounted keyboards is ridiculously stupid, I don't see why anyone would buy a mechanical keyboard for it to feel like a garbage mushy rubber dome keyboard.

Not all gasket mounts are going to feel the same. It's going to depend on the stiffness of the material used in the gasket. Some people prefer a springy typing experience while others prefer a more rigid one.

That's the BEST feature of them all....they ARE there, you just have to guess where, and hope they don't move to another location upon each reboot, heeheehee...

And anyways, it IS marketed as yet ANUTHA gamr toi for da gamr bois....so there's that !

The Terrible Puddle
Have seen big claims about latency and rapid trigger sensitivity/accuracy before and it being bollocks.

Lets see if anyone makes a proper test of it.

8000Hz polling on a keyboard is hilariously useless. Even high-end mice barely benefit from going above 2000, and those are by their very nature more sensitive to latency. This will give absolutely no real edge to anyone. But hey, I guess at least HE switches are nice, so there is that.

I swear, polling rate became the “more DPI” number game of old.

Yeah that would make sense, I just find it weird how having a metal plate midframe feeling like you're typing on a solid block of metal used to be a premium feature, now it only seems to be on more entry level mechanical keyboards.

Yeah, it's really hard to tell the difference above 4,000 Hz even with a 240 Hz+ monitor. The switches on this keyboard should be able to register presses very quickly if they are using hall effect switches with variable actuation but that says nothing about how quickly the keyboard's controller picks up on those keys being pressed (known as scan rate) and then starts sending the data over USB to your PC.

NO ARROW KEYS
The ez63 has arrow keys, they are selling versions with and without arrow keys. TBH I typically just map the bottom right most keys to arrow keys. That said, if this is anything like the wooting hall effect keyboards, it may be possible to map keys to double tap vs a hold vs a single tap (or even a certain pressing distance although I don't recommend that).

It's just not something they blow up in the marketing anymore because as you pointed out even entry level keyboards have that nowadays. They are just surrounding that metal plate with a lot of foam and mounting it and the PCB differently.

It's a lot of small attention to detail things and part quality that you get when going from budget to high end but you could easily be happy with a lower end keyboard today. There's also a ton of options in terms of smaller brands today as well which is great for the market.

I just hope by Web based they mean similar to how routers/wifi ap provide a web interface running locally(on that device) it would be a welcome change compared to bloatwares we have with all "gaming" products.

It's a magnetic keyboard, which needs quality software for actuation customization.
