Solid fronts are abysmal for airflow.

Yes, I see the slots flanking.

Are you sure it is licensed? The face on the case looks nothing like the teddybear on the poster, looks more like a counterfeit.

Missed opportunity to turn it into the sheep or pig from minecraft.

Not surprising with regards to the design. I know a couple of the creators are big time youtube content makers & are into anime. I think they put a lot more energy into designing that nasty looking theme than they did with the overall system design.

OR... the flying pig from Pink Floyd's Animals album, hehehehe :)

I'll just have to call it what it is: The Bismuth PC (as in pepto bismal) !

with the layout of the case, it wouldn't make much of a difference tbh. There's going to be a bunch of cables/the PSU in that area

Artsy stuff, I am intrigued. When will they make a Homeworld 3 one? Come on? I am the only one out there that wants one? :)

A Bismuth metal coated PC case would actually look cool and something I haven't seen yet.

You forgot to add the cost of licensing for adding a copyrighted theme to the case which is probably quite high for a low volume product like this + assembly cost (labor isn't cheap - people need to eat) shipping and handling to ship the thing to you + all of the accessories that they add which will in fact not fit just inside the case box, warranty + technical support for after the sale. Their margins are slimmer than you think for a unique product like this and TBH i think your being a bit unfair calling it expensive in a world were $1000-1500 is becoming the norm for a basic quality gaming pc. Think of it this way - If a custom boutique builder like maingear were to build something similar like this it would probably run closer to $3k. I'm all in for supporting a smaller SI like star forged they make good systems for a reasonable markup and provide excellent customer support (so I've heard), Are they really as bad as you make them out to be??

Very much all of this. SIs are a hop and a skip from a privately-commissioned custom build from a boutique shop, and with everything surrounding an SI's operations it makes total sense that it'll be a margin more expensive than DIY à la carte parting. The selling point has always been a system that works as intended OOTB and is backed by warranty and customer support; it's for non-enthusiasts that don't want to poke around their PC and find value in paying more for a less involved PC experience (and in this case, a theme/look that they like).
