Also depending what part of the world youre from. Some countries dont have good 5G coverage so 4G is the best option.
Heck, even consumer 4G modems aren't out of question for lots of people.
5G isn't everywhere yet, and some countries don't even consider it at all.
Even here in Ukraine before war we had an ongoing thing with 5G spectrum, where the govt. didn't want to run an auction for related frequencies 'cause 4G wasn't at its full potential yet. And with advances in 4G carrier aggregation it seemed like we can skip 5G altogether. Vodafone did a tech demo a few years back with basically gigabit speeds on 4G network. It's only available in Kyiv and few other cities as 4G+ or 4.5G depending on operator, and definitely is a blast to use (if it works). Rural areas heavily rely on LTE900 in most cases as well, so 4G ain't going anywhere any time soon.
