ASUS today announced ASUS NUC 14 Essential, an ultracompact, entry-level mini PC powered by the latest Intel Core N-series processor. Interesting that this NUC has socketed bios chip.

Looked up the spec, and Essential more than tries to sell these machines, as the strongest spec includes Intel's Twin-Lake N355 CPU, an 8 Ecore (the far slower Alder Lake type) single channel based system.
I know its "enough" for document writing and casual web surfing, but i wonder how much internal push there is to use these chips instead of something that even includes a pair of P-cores

After I bought my N100 (Asrock N100M) system with the obsolete 1Gbps network,
They starting to release the new options with 2.5Gbps. :roll:
