SEGA's Empire: Total War Announced

SEGA has announced their latest release in the Total War RTS series, "Empire: Total War". The time period is set in the 18th century during the British Industrial Revolution and includes other epic historic events such as America's fight for independence and the conquest for control of the Eastern Trade routes.

Sega said in a press release that "PC Gamers will be able to intuitively command vast fleets or single ships upon seascapes rich with extraordinary water and weather effects that play a huge role in your eventual glorious success or ignominious defeat. After pummelling your enemy with cannon fire, close in to grapple their ship and prepare to board taking control your men as they fight hand to hand on the decks."

Even more RTS goodness to enjoy. Truly, RTS has overtaken RPGs in the PC world as my favorite Game Genre. Who's with me? Huh Huh?
