Razer Brings Lachesis - New Lethal Weapon

In response to the Microsoft SideWinder project, Razer announced today the Razer Lachesis high-precision 3G laser gaming mouse at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. Utilizing the brand new Razer 3G Laser Sensor, the Razer Lachesis is the pinnacle achievement in gaming mice. The new Razer 3G Laser Sensor brings the first ever true 4000DPI laser mouse, which enables movement speeds of 5 times that of a standard 800dpi optical sensor, or up to 25g acceleration. The Razer Lachesis also allows programming of nine Hyperesponse button functions. Other features include 32KB Razer Synapse onboard memory, 1000Hz Ultrapolling/1ms response time, On-The-Fly Sensitivity adjustment, variable true dpi setting adjustments in increments of 125dpi, Zero-acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet, Gold-plated USB connector and many more. The Razer Lachesis gaming mouse is available for preorder now with a MSRP price of $79.99 directly from Razer.

The design looks like a deathadder / boomslang hybrid. Nice to see that Razer has made a laser sensor that still functions at acceleration.

Yay for competition :laugh: Microsoft's probably hitting their heads on the wall with this announcement :banghead::banghead:

I personally don't like these kind of mouses though its very bulky from when i actually held one in a store and its not very sexy like some logitech mice. wanna know of a sexy mouse? try the Logitech VX Revolution (not the MX the MX is way to big imo):respect::respect::respect:

They never change their design really.

Also, whats weird is, they collaborate with MS on a gaming mouse, and now compete. WTF?

Every new Razer mouse has these buttons. The right side buttons are commonly used to change the DPI settings on the fly, or change the mouse profiles.

It looks like a copperhead mixed in with a deathadder. Kinda cool though.
