Wikipedia Entry on George W. Bush Vandalized

Wikipedia prides itself in being the only open source dictionary with the approximate accuracy of the Encyclopedia Britannica that anybody at all can edit. Unfortunately, the noble cause of Wikipedia is sometimes out-shined by the immature vandalism of punks. This would be one such case: the entry for George W. Bush (the current president of the United States of America) was recently vandalized to show the anti-Bush views of an un-named editor. Before the article even begins, it reads...
Quite Simply, The Worse President In History! A Terrorist HimSelf, and a truly "stupid" Mother F*cker who we all wish would leave this country for ever befor he starts another war and kills us all, he's just in it for the money, Watch ZeitGeistmovie.com "pt2" to see what really happened on 9/11/01
Needless to say, Wikipedia will get this sorted out very soon, and will also probably lock this article to editing in the future. For those of us who want a quick giggle before this happens, I saved a screenshot of the vandalism for our entertainment.

LoL! IMO, if you're going to try to smear someone, you should at least try to make it look like you're intelligent. What a goober.

Yes, but we still can't prove it.
And there are people out there that think that Bush is the greatest thing on Earth.
Even people who think they can prove that 9/11 was not an inside job.. :shadedshu

He is stupid, Ill say that, but he is hardly the worst president in history. I can say I feel safer when he was the president in 2001 than with gore, the tea party specialist.

Unfortunately, our President is only a reflection of ourselves. As we become more apathetic, our president becomes more pathetic.

The initial post refers to punks vandalizing then talks about how he has an image for entertainment. That's pathetic

You might not agree with the President but you should respect him as he was elected by the majority of this country. If you can't comprehend that then maybe you should move to North Korea or Venezuela just to get a taste of what it means to have a dictator. Then you will understand the meaning of freedom and what it means to have the right to elect someone as your leader. Then you might actually appreciate the rights which allow you to criticize and might actually think before you speak.

Funny how the liberals talk about Bush having to prove 911 wasn't an inside job. The libs seem to believe you are guilty until proven innocent. Plus they call him stupid yet he was able to mastermind 911 and not get caught?

The other countries of the world must get a kick out of how pathetic and whinny some of us have become.

The whole point of living in a free society with an elected government is to criticize. It's the basis of checks and balances; criticism and skepticism to keep the government in line. This country is not run by rule of the tyranny, but maybe you missed that memo.

People like you are the reason the USA has progressed to authoritarianism. Elected government without criticism might as well be a dictatorship.

Criticism with improper facts is not criticism at all. It is misleading with an agenda. Do you believe what the vandalized wiki stated? Do you believe GW was behind 911? Funny but I thought I recognized your right to criticize in the previous post. As usual the libs only see and hear what they want to.

I guess I have to spell it out so you understand. Please feel free to exercise your right to criticize the facts but don't throw in wild speculation and conspiracy theories as a basis for your criticism.

It's quite impressive that I am responsible for the so called authoritarianism of our country. wow!

Wait, what are you whining about again?

EDIT: Actually, he lost the popular vote but won the electoral vote. Therefore, he was not elected by the majority of the country. Also, he was appointed President by the Supreme Court. Additionally, I have no respect for the man. Good day to you.

You conservatives make me sick.
You display your complete ignorance of the world by siding with the criminally incompetent and evil rule of the Neo-Conservatives, calling the skeptics of this rain of terror "liberals" as to mean anything but "those who want freedom", and allowing them to continue to destroy this country because of your need to feel superior to those who you see as overlly cruel towards a government that tries time and time again, but just can't get lucky.

If you really think that the facts aren't there, this should prove you wrong.
Although that doesn't even scratch the surface of the fallacies of this administration.
You think that they are any better than Kim Yong-il and Hugo Chavez?
OPEN YOUR EYES OR SHUT THE FUNK UP. (someone funked up my line!)

Just because you don't want to see the truth, does not mean that you have the right to prevent others from bringing this country to what it used to be, before this dictatorship started.

George Bush doens't even know how to pronounce things properly, this guy was right. It also exposes how easy it is to edit stuff, just the other day in Science class, me and my m8 were messing around on Wikipedia, he couldn't dit stuff, but I could. I deleted the entire Genetic Modification article. Just goes to show how easy it is.

You're awful quick to generalize. Let's have another looksie and what I said, and desipher the inner meaning like we're in high-school English class...

You automatically assume that I find it entertaining because it takes a potshot at the president of the United States of America.

Personally, I found it entertaining (and newsworthy) because it was immature, and it got past Wikipedia's filters. I'm sure others did as well.

I'm sorry, but I never voted for Bush in either election - that right there gives me the right to complain about his actions, his administrations actions, and the vice president's actions. I never wanted him there, I was in the voting minority.

That is what makes this government theoretically work. Majority rule with minority rights. The majority decides who our officials are, but the rights and opinions of the minority are to be respected and acknowledged.

Either way, our government has become the biggest joke of the world over the last 7 years, and it has become even more worse over the last 3. Our presidents priorities and agenda are so far crooked that he can't even get it straight. In a fairly recent interview when he was asked about his thoughts on Bin Laden, he was quoted as saying "I don't think about him all that much anymore." :wtf: :wtf: So, the 3 years we spent fooling around in Afghanistan were a waste of money and resources, huh?

Oh, and his veto of the recent child health care plan was a joke in itself. Especially after his quote that he ". . . vetoed the bill because I feel that health care should come from private insurers, not the government." Ummm . . . that's why this bill was up for approval to help out the kids whose families can't AFFORD private coverage. Our health care system is a joke - especially for those of special circumstance (i.e. due to a pre-existing medical condition, I have no coverage. The cheapest quote I received from any company was $750 a month).

It pisses me off how often we're screwing around in other nation's business, even resorting to bullying other countries to do what we want them to do. A few years ago, I remember Rice was pressuring Belarus to change their government over to a democracy because it was one of the only true 'tyrannies' left in the world - even though the people are happy with their government. That incident irritated all the neighboring countries, too. I also remember an incident a couple of years ago where Bush was pressuring Putin to develop Russia's oil industry (Russia sits on the largest untapped oil supply in the world, three times as big as Saudi Arabia), even offering monetary aide to help Russia do so . . . at a price, of course, meaning Bush wanted a % of the recovered oil, and a % of the profits.

I had an idea a year ago, that for ALL of our government officials - president, vice-president, senators, representatives, etc - if their approval rating falls below 50%, we should cut their pay by 50%. If it falls below 35%, we should cut it to 25%. The whole reasoning behind this . . . if you lose the support of the majority, you're not doing the job you were hired (read: elected) for. Seeing as how we can't just up and fire you, and we can't cut your work hours, we cut your pay. You'd be surprised how many officials would quickly straighten up their act.
