Note to Crysis dudes: quit screwing yourselves over by dropping a dud after the great FarCry. Should have just delayed the game until it actually runs. Bad move, it pisses people off.
I dunno if the copy of Crysis that comes with the card is bound to the card or not. My friend bought an XFX 7900GT a year or so ago, and it came with Need for Speed or something stupid. Another guy tried installing it on his computer, but it didn't allow him to get past the install screen because he didn't have an XFX card. I'm not sure about it in this case however...
Oh, and I'm not sure if this has been talked about, but evga is giving an offer that whenever you buy 8800 series, they'll give you Quake Wars for free! Here's the link: www.evga.com/etqw/
but it is to help clear the obsolete hardware..
trog
I just got a 8800gts 112sp.. since people were comaplaing about the 8800gt not having good frame rates at 1680x1050 and above when enabling eye candy that is atleast.
I got one bundled with quake wars for $309+ taxes -$30MIR.. than they just added the Crysis bundled one for $325+ taxes -$30MIR :P ohwell I'll prob just give Tigger69 Quake Wars if he would like it :P hes helped me out alot. I didnt care much for the game.
Well my 8800 is coming next week so we will see!! *fingers crossed*
This may as well be one key for all and no online play for anyone. Not that I'm buying, but if I wanted it I'd make sure is it full retail first :)
Granted the hardware was high end, but still, Crysis does kill the 8800, and it's unplayable. FarCry was no where near that with the 6800s.
Coincidentally, my 6800 was an evga and it was bundled with FarCry haha. Solid cards all around.
