Dell Sells MSI GeForce 8800GT for $208USD

Well, really, what can I say? Grab 'em while they're hot!

For those of you who need a proper introduction to the 8800GT...
The NX8800GT-T2D512E-OC ultimate graphic card provides extreme performance ideal for gaming. The graphic card provides special gaming and overclocking features; 65nm technology with low temperature, easy overclocking, high bandwidth, PCI-E generation 2.0 support, raised number of stream processors, overclocked version, SLI support and a special game bundle with not one but two games! MSI offers all this for a surprisingly reasonable price tag. With all the new features, the MSI NX8800GT-T2D512E-OC can achieve even better benchmark results or real application performances than ever!
Editors note: So apparently the MSI 8800's sold out. For $234USD, you can get yourself an XFX 8800GT off of Dell. Here is the entire list of the 8800GT's Dell has in stock.

I ordered a few hours back, ship estimate is December 10th.

It also claims 2 games come with it, but doesn't list what they are. The non-oc version can come with DiRT and a LoTR game, but I have no idea what this comes with. Otherwise.... overclocked 8800gt for well under retail even after taxes, a good deal.

wow even though the ship time is long, i would buy it but parents aren't spending any money until its about 1-2weeks b4 xmas, if these were the prices of GT's all the time then ati would have like no sales, cept maybe teh 3850

well at that price you could sell both at retail and still make 20.00 a piece the price on the gt won't go down near Christmas, there won't be any in stock any place. Thx Zek ordered two should help me pay for my GTX. Retail for those are 269.00 and you won't see a retail price anytime soon. It is just like the G0 quads they never sold at retail unless you count day one, even today they are 20.00 to 30.00 over the Intel retail price. They will never go down before Xmass and even when the 8800 gts 512mb comes out they will be even more popular because the 8800 gts 512mb is really not much better but will cost more make the 8800 gt even more popular. Also if they do go down in price just cancel the order. It's a Win WIN!!!! for the record I'm selling theses bad boys. 2 weeks before Xmass is perfect.

who the hell cares if its goin to take till dec 10th or so, ur goin to save at least 50 bucks compared to the 269 versions, and a lot of people buy the ssc or oc versions that can b 319!!!!!!!i mean 50-90 bucks cheaper is one hell of a deal, and as long as ur goin to wait to see a 269 in stock u mite as well get a dell one and wait a little.just logical thkin IMO

its a shame this offer only exists for the US. I cant find anything about it on the UK site....yet again Us Uk folk are being screwed over.....life is cruel....

Im still looking to get the 112 8800GTS anyways but if this was a lot cheaper for more or less the same performance I would have got this instead.....

No they are not substandard. They are all made by Foxconn for Nvida anyway MSI EVGA etc.. just distribute them. The cards are all the same basically.

Foxconn makes about 80 percent of computer devices made then they are brand by other companies so you must really hate alot of electronics.

The cards are made exactly the same the only difference is XFX has a double lifetime warranty and MSI has a three year warranty and changing the heatsink won't void a XFX warranty.

same thing really but i got your point. I have had great experiences with Foxconn but I like EVGA, XFX, PNY and MSI in that order, best.
