i am asking because i was looking for a nice 2.5 s-ata drive for my laptop but i don't know wich one is fast and not tooo hot.
In former days i was able to change my ide 2.5" drive by removing 4 screws and just place a fast 7200rpm one inside but now a days there are several connectors on these laptops.
I only know that my laptop is equiped with an 2.5" s-ata 80GB HD thats all.
Is there sata 2 for 2.5" ??
But, as you might have implied, at least its improving :D.
SATA 1 is 1.5Gb/s
I'd consider it if I didn't get a 160 GB 5400 4 months ago (it was a good deal).
