GSC Game World today announced the planned release date for its upcoming survival FPS title S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. According to the agreed plan, the game will ship worldwide on August 29, 2008. "Our intention to deliver the game simultaneously worldwide is both a challenge and big responsibility to the many fans of the game around the globe," said GSC World Publishing CEO Sergiy Grygorovych. "We are looking forward to achieve this ambitious goal in August." said Sergiy Grygorovych, GSC World Publishing CEO.

Oh well, looks like it will be just in time to interfere with another semester of school
anyone try the stalker mods?
I think I can hold out til then, what they should do in the mean time is release more patches for the first one beefing up performance on multi-cored machines and ridding the bugs.
Hopefully there will be less text reading and more guitar riffs.
Oh an less of this.
I shot him in the head so he teleported through the ceiling in front of me and somehow ended up being trapped in the concrete having a seizure in the room behind me.
Hopefully, this STALKER release won't be as riddled with issues as the first one (which I've recently started playing after 2 days of tweaking down).
