ASUS Reveals Eee Keyboard Concept PC

Even though the EeePC is selling like hot cakes, nothing is stopping ASUS from developing more and more Eee-branded products. Their latest creation is called Eee Keyboard - a full-sized keyboard with built-in computer that includes wireless and Ethernet network, single speaker, built-in mic, and a 5-inch touchscreen display. The whole system weighs in less than 2 pounds and can connect to an external display. ASUS Eee Keyboard is still only a prototype, but who knows.

If it had tv out as well you wouldn't need to worry about finding a monitor as a tv's are everywhere!

That guy looks too old and slow to be presenting a new device.

They should get some hip hop break dancer flipping and dancing around then pulls the product out of his jacket, now that would gain attention.

Scrap the screen and you've got something useful on your hands. Just so long as they keep the price down... Keyboard PC's are old tech, but with new low-power options like Intel's Atom and AMD's Neo platform I don't see any reason why they couldn't shed the pounds and fit into ultra-sleek packages like this. Throw in fold-out video + USB I/O like the MacBook Air and you've got every cluttered office's dream...

He's the CEO of Asus...
That could be WHY he's doing the presentation of what is a new and never before seen product?
The idea is that you use the screen as part of the user interface, i.e. you have your media player controls there while you're watching a movie on your TV.
It's not meant to be a desktop PC, instead it's something you should use in your front room.
