First debuted during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January, ASUSTeK's Eee keyboard is now said to ship sometime by the end of June. According to Engadget Chinese the keyboard/PC combo will ship in June with specs that should include an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 32 GB solid-state drive, 800x480 pixel touchscreen display that doubles as a trackpad, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth, HDMI-out, stereo speakers and a mic. The keyboard PC is running Microsoft Windows XP as standard. Two versions of the ASUS Eee keyboard will be launched, a wired one that will carry a $400 price tag, and a wireless one that will bump the price to $600. Even though the EeePC is selling like hot cakes, nothing is stopping ASUS from developing more and more Eee-branded products. Their latest creation is called Eee Keyboard - a full-sized keyboard with built-in computer that includes wireless and Ethernet network, single speaker, built-in mic, and a 5-inch touchscreen display. The whole system weighs in less than 2 pounds and can connect to an external display. ASUS Eee Keyboard is still only a prototype, but who knows.
