Good point though, though they have SLI capable shuttles already, and there even is a mATX (slightly larger, I know) dual Xeon board. (i5000) So apparently it can be done.
I want a dual xeon toaster...
sexy ideas here though, surely i7 is too hot to confine like this?
If I'd ever come across a cheap sample of that board I'd buy it, shame it only has the x8 slot but it's still fun. I'd go to a LAN party with it just to brag and be pwnd by people with faster systems.
I'd probably stick Dempseys in it, just for the hell of it. (They're Pentium D's with HT)
I was thinking the other day that I haven't seen an X58 based XPC.
or 4870x2
As you probably don't know, Shuttle uses their own PSU standard.
The shuttles also normally only have two expansion slots...
How about WINNING one of these?
We're giving away a Shuttle SX58H7 (the platform this H7 5800 is based on), Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit w/Samsung gaming monitor and 3D glasses, Razer gaming gear including Lycosa keyboard and DeathAdder mouse, Fast & Furious on Blu-ray/DVD, and more.

If there's enough "buzz" though, our other offices might start a contest like it too ;)
