Logitech G19 Keyboard Available for Pre-Order Now for $199 at Amazon.com

With deep regret I inform you that Logitech's G19 keyboard is now up for pre-order. For those of you willing to pay $199.99, Logitech G19 will offer you 12 programmable macro G-keys, user-selectable backlighting color, two high-speed USB 2.0 ports and what's probably the only new feature - a color GamePanel LCD with 320x240 resolution, enough to display game stats, system information, video playback, images and many other items. Unfortunately, to me the keyboard comes with a killer price, $200 for one color LCD with the size of a GSM display? If you're still excited after knowing the price and want to pre-order one, it is available now here at Amazon.com.

When it comes to crunch time, you dont want to be stuck with a $10 keyboard. Almost all modern games require the user to be pressing 3 or more keys at once inorder to accomplish tasks or moves to the best of ones ability and cheapo keyboards suck in that department.

This Logitech keyboard, and its previous revisions support the average gamers requirements but are more mainstreamed for everyday use, such as media and internet features. The G buttons are great and can vastly improve players gaming. Dont try to compare players ability with such a difference in a $10 keyboard and this.

For the record, i also believe $200 is a stupid price tag for this keyboard. I wouldnt pay more then $89au. Im currently using the Ideazon Zboard, because i love the big butterfly asdqwe buttons

I believe the price will drop. Give it roughly 6 months. The G15 when it was first released was $100 bucks. And I have the first edition of that before they revised it.

Logitech's gamer series has a lot of hands craftsmanship. Heres the source.

To infinity ... and beyond!
i paid $68 for my G15, great keyboard, i like it because of the keys, they are rubbery and quiet.

If the G19 drops to about $130, i'll buy it, but $200 is a bit steep

Why, I basically paid 10 dollars for my wireless logitech keyboard, and it lasted me years of gaming (many buttons pressed). It only broke after I spilled pop on it. Better to be out a 10 dollar keyboard than a 100 dollar one. :\

touche I feel the same way. I just want to push a key and it do what I asked it too. I dont care about lcd's oled keys and all that mess. Granted if I was mega baller and could just shit out my rent then im sure I would have a optimus. until that day ill stick with my cheapo 25 dollar wireless
