the last thing i ever heard anything good said about ECS was back in the Skt 939 days with its KN1 mobo (i think that what it was called)even then they werent too popular. I think ECS are more of a big time OEM/Budget market player rather then a 'I-Want-To-Compete-With-Everybody' type of company. they make some decent boards - just that nobody cares lol

ECS is the world's leading? WTF? I mean, my previous 3 builds before this were with ECS boards, but that's because they're bone cheap and worked. Lord knows I don't exactly crave another feature-starved ECS board. I'd definitely take an ECS board if it at least let me change the voltage unlike this $50 MSI piece o junk.

All companies are world leader in whatever they do. Hence it doesn't mean a thing.

I thought that whole M.I.B. II feature was a Gigabyte gimmick? I could have sworn I had that with my old Gigabyte K8U-939.

ECS is A OEM mobo manufacturer because hardly anyone, except companies will go and buy their products. Their products arent as good as asus.

I totally disagree with you. Asus is equally bad like any other mobo company. ECS used to be crap (basically free mobo), but now they have improved a lot. ECS bios is not that strong for OCing like Asus or DFI, but their mobos just work, period.

Atleast in my experience, whenever I try Asus, Abit or other premium manufacturer something or the other is not working correctly. Then after much pain I give up and put in a ECS and my issues are gone.
