TechPowerUp can be now followed on Twitter, the popular micro-blogging and social-networking portal. It is where TechPowerUp staff will post snappy 'tweets' (updates) on site content, including news, reviews, and other popular developments in the forums, and, it's where our team attending major events give live updates on what's happening. As we speak, our Editor-in-Chief W1zzard, along with Senior Editor Darksaber, are attending Computex 2009. The duo is attending a press-conference by NVIDIA on its upcoming technologies. Followers get to read informal scoops live from Computex, and also reply to them.

If I had made it, it would have been different. Besides, why would you try to defend Twitter? It's as phail as MySpace or FaceBook.

I'm just messing with ya man. Anyway I wouldn't call MySpace a "fail". I'm all for TPU getting its name out there. You should be too. It means we will have more reviews and more members to enjoy info from and make fun of their epic fails. You should be happy. Not flaming.

I wouldn't say fanboy in my case. I'm originally from Montreal, and FB is what I use to stay in touch with my family and friends there so...why not?

I don't "Twitter" or "Tweet" or whatever it's called, but I think it is the perfect medium for our guys out in the field to post daily events and personal thoughts as they happen. I like it because it's fast and the messages are short and I don't have to join or subscribe to read the blog.

Besides, everyone is going to want to know if one of the guys gets some kind of Asian Jock itch or something. (sorry, had to throw in a cheap disease reference too. My bad. :D )

guys, if you dont like it, dont follow our twitter feed. its not like we need to do it. we were joking about this and i thought it might be a fun idea, that's why i'm tweeting all this stuff. to experiment with it, see if people like it, if it's worth the time etc. i'm posting the updates via sms from on the move, so they're as instant as it gets

Well I'm not saying I don't like it. I could care less - I don't even use Twitter. I just was saying that I don't understand it.

I am following, purley because I like to read news. Even tho I don't tweet that often it is nice to log on and look at what other people are doing whilst I am sat in class on a summers day.
