GeForce 186.24 Beta Drivers Leaked
NVIDIA's upcoming beta driver suite has been leaked by sections of the Chinese media. The new driver, GeForce 186.24 (6.14.11.8624) is dated 23/06/2009, and follows the release of 186.18 by over two weeks. Due to the lack of a release-notes document from NVIDIA, not much is known about this released except that it expands the supported products list significantly, adding several IGPs and some GPUs belonging to the new 40 nm GT21x series. Be cautioned, this is a beta release that does not originate from NVIDIA's website, and is not guaranteed.DOWNLOAD: GeForce 186.24 BETA for Windows 7/Vista 64-bit | Windows 7/Vista 32-bit | Windows XP 64-bit | Windows XP 32-bit

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
the only way that i find it's disable multi-gpu (i have 1 gtx295), when i disable the multi-gpu the games with problems works fine, mirror's edge, grid, dirt.
i find on google a lot of info and a lots of users with the same problem, on ati & nvidia, the problem it's on the fuck*ng vista, i hope win 7 final will be perfect than the last RC, and i hope that the problem dissapear
I had the same issue with an 8800Ultra, overclocking beyond 2.8GHz caused crashes - that is until I adjusted fan speeds. Even then, I found that wasn't enough during summer, so I bought aftermarket GPU cooling and have never had the dreaded nvlddmkm since. This was on both 680i and x48 boards, using E6320 and Q6700.

Also do this - conflicting software may hang the driver long enough for Vista to think that the proverbial fan is revolving in sh*t.
Basically, your driver would not crash in XP - the recovery feature is new to Vista, if you disable it, Vista will act more like XP and will no longer crash - this mod is not necessary for Win 7 as it rocks my socks.
PD: so, let me see if i understand, i have to create a new d-word called TdrLevel value with "0" and nothing else?
