I found that things were loading slowly this morning. I wish I had more time to play, have to get ready for the in-laws to come over for dinner though.
I'm having more hiccups (running out of VRAM maybe,) and menus seem to load a little slower now. Maybe it's just because of how many people are on.

I'm at the HQ and I'm constantly getting interdicted by Fed, Alliance and Pirate jerks. I think the HQ system needs some sort of reinforcement.

They were stable for about half an hour, now down again. I'll try again in a couple minutes.
If I play for another 41 hours I will be elite in Elite. If I get an elite rank in elite and play 41 more hours I will be an elite elite in elite.

RIP powerplay. Background is broken, and there is no communication on what we need to do.
Arissa-Duval expanded everywhere, and the upkeep cost too much. Because of this the highest-cost system fell into chaos. Because we lost the income from that system the next one fell, and then it was dominoes. She fell from #1 to #10 in one cycle, and maybe shouldn't even be a power at this point (technically)

Near nebula looks pretty but, everyone and their mother has checked it out. Jump ~200LY away almost every system I encounter is unexplored (by anyone,) except for the star you jumped to. I got my fill for fighting for now so I traded in my decked out vulture for an Asp and loaded it up with the best for exploring.

Class 6 fuel scoops are crazy awesome.

Need advice for an explorer ship myself. Right now, I am using a loaded up Viper with the cargo containers converted to fuel takes, a fuel scoop, and no shields just armor (I can outrun most any pirate in single player anyways).

It's not the best, of that I am certain, but I'm making more than when I used this ship for trading... lol. I have enough credits now to trade it in for something better though, as long as it's under a million. What do you guys thing? I have terrible ship picking skills.

I started with trading until I could get a Vulture. Then I fought and worked my combat rank up until I had enough to deck out an Asp. It didn't happen overnight, it took time. I could have kept fighting with the Vulture but, I wanted a change of pace.

If you're exploring the diamondback scout may be an option. The cobra may also work. I'm surprised you used the viper, it's jump range is less than great.

Stick to eco jumping and they are both good, how ever i do like that DB for exploring more and if you don't scan that the planet and just for whats in the system it's jump skim scan jump with no pauses when it's fully kitted out as the heat don't got too 100%.

Cobra's a good mix though alright with exploring and a load better at mining ( than the DB ) and good at fighting, but the DB is lighting fast fly one of those a while and start flying even the ASP you feel slow and flying a T-9 is like falling a sleep while it turns lol.

Diamondback will set you about 8 mill fully kitted out and Cobra is cheaper and better for early on due to be able to mine better too if you want a change.

A ASP fully kitted out will set you back around 35m and for the others higher than that you want to hold your breath before finding out.

At this time i have lost interest for the most part as one thing Powerplay did was split people up and in no real way help groups. Coop side is lacking a lot so i hope they add content for cooperative game play as i see it it might be a MMO but it's a frigging lonely one..
