The Radeon Pro Vega II Duo is an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on June 3rd, 2019. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Vega 20 graphics processor, in its Vega 20 XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The Vega 20 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 331 mm² and 13,230 million transistors. Radeon Pro Vega II Duo combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 4096 shading units, 256 texture mapping units, and 64 ROPs, per GPU. AMD has paired 64 GB HBM2 memory with the Radeon Pro Vega II Duo, which are connected using a 4096-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 32,768 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1400 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1720 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz. The AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo uses Apple's MPX form factor, which is a proprietary interface design that combines a traditional PCI-Express x16 slot with a second custom-Apple connector, to provide additional data bandwidth and power delivery capability. The MPX slot is backwards compatible with classic PCI-Express x16 cards, which may be installed in the PCIe slot part of MPX. Separate power cables are not required, power draw is rated at 475 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI 2.0b, 4x Thunderbolt. Its price at launch was 4399 US Dollars.
