The Radeon R9 260 OEM was a graphics card by AMD, launched on December 21st, 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Bonaire graphics processor, in its Bonaire XTX variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon R9 260 OEM. The Bonaire graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 160 mm² and 2,080 million transistors. It features 896 shading units, 56 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. AMD has paired 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory with the Radeon R9 260 OEM, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1100 MHz, memory is running at 1625 MHz (6.5 Gbps effective). Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon R9 260 OEM draws power from 1x 6-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 85 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x HDMI 1.4a, 2x mini-DisplayPort 1.2. Radeon R9 260 OEM is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface.
