Lepa Unveils G1000-MA 80 Plus Gold Modular PSU
Lepa unveiled its newest performance-segment PSU, the G1000-MA. The new PSU features in the same product family as the recently-launched 1600W monstrosity, the G1600. Unlike the G1600, the new G1000-MA features partially modular cabling, with key cables such as 24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS, and a pair of 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors being fixed, while two additional pairs of 6+2 pin PCIe connectors, a total of twelve SATA power, and 8 Molex connectors, are detachable.
The new 1000W PSU, like the G1600, is 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating certified. Other compliances include ErP Lot6, ATX 2.3, and EPS 2.92. The G1000-MA uses a quad +12V rail design, with four 30A rails. It features active power factor correction, and a suite of protection mechanisms, against over/under voltage/current and short-circuit. Measuring 150 x 183 x 86 mm, the G1000-MA uses a 140 mm fan to keep its innards cool. It is slated for June 23.
