be quiet! Announces Pure Loop 2 Series Liquid CPU Coolers

be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components, announces an addition to its portfolio of all-in-one water cooling units with Pure Loop 2. Pure Loop 2 replaces the award-winning Pure Loop, offering substantial improvements by implementing a PWM-adjustable pump and ARGB LEDs around the cooling block. Compared to Pure Loop 2 FX, the new Pure Loop 2 series utilizes be quiet!'s brand-new Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans for high static pressure and a quiet operation. To match individual cooling requirements, Pure Loop 2 will be available with four different radiator sizes: 120 mm, 240 mm, 280 mm, and 360 mm.

Pure Loop 2 water cooling units rely on up to three Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans, which offer a very quiet operation of only 36.8 dBA at maximum speed. The fans also support a unique closed loop motor function, which monitors the rotational speed of the fan and makes automatic adjustments to keep the fans at a constant fan speed, no matter the air resistance of the radiator. Pure Loop 2 has a doubly decoupled pump to reduce the transfer of vibrations: by being mounted on the tubes, the pump case is decoupled from the CPU cooling block and radiator. On top of that, rubber padding inside the housing of the pump unit add an additional layer of decoupling. The pump unit is PWM-adjustable, allowing better fine-tuning of the performance/noise balance. A nickel-coated coldplate ensures efficient cooling performance for all mainstream desktop processors and allows the use of liquid metal thermal compound.
