Thermalright Intros Frozen Prism White Series AIO Liquid CPU Coolers

Air-based CPU cooling maestros Thermalright are expanding their liquid-based cooler portfolio with the addition of two white color-schemed coolers under the Frozen Prism White series. These include two models based on the radiator size—the Frozen Prism White 360, and the Frozen Prism White 240. Their design sees white cover everything from the radiator frames, to the radiator fins, the fiber sleeving of the coolant tubes, the included fans, their frames and impellers; and of course the pump-block itself.

An illuminated ARGB ornament on top of the pump-block; and the illuminated fans, make up their lighting setup. These use standard 3-pin ARGB headers. Each of the included TL-E12W-S V2 fans turns at speeds of up to 1,850 RPM, pushing up to 70.4 CFM of airflow, at 2.64 mm H₂O static pressure. Among the CPU socket types supported by the Frozen Prism series are Intel Socket LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA2066, and LGA115x; and AMD Socket AM5 and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Thermaltake Launches the ToughAir 710 Dual Fin-Stack CPU Cooler

Thermaltake today launched the ToughAir 710, a premium dual aluminium fin-stack CPU cooler. Measuring 148.6 mm x 146.6 mm x 165 mm (LxWxH), the TA710 is a massive, heavyweight category cooler (with its weight expected to be around the 1 kg-mark). The cooler features a U-type dual fin-stack design. Seven 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes make indirect contact with the CPU over a base of the same material, with their ends passing through the two fin-stacks. These are ventilated by a pair of 140 mm fans in push-pull configuration, with the second fan nested between the two stacks.

Each of the two included ToughFan 14 spinners turns at speeds of up to 1,400 RPM, pushing up to 81.96 CFM of airflow at 1.81 mm H₂O static pressure, and 23.9 dBA noise output. The fans are rated for 40,000 hours of use. Thermaltake rates the ToughAir 710 as being capable of handling thermal loads of 250 W. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, LGA2066, LGA1200, LGA115x, AM5, and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Dynatron Intros 80 mm x 240 mm AIO CPU Cooler for 2U Rack Cases

Server and workstation cooling solutions provider Dynatron unveiled the L35, a unique all-in-one liquid CPU cooler meant for 2U rackmount cases. The cooler features a 240 mm x 80 mm radiator, which relies on three 80 mm fans in a row for ventilation. The radiator itself is a chunky 44 mm-thick. The cooler uses a pump located at the radiator, while the thin water-block doesn't have any cables going to it, just the coolant tubes. Each of the three included 80 mm fans are data-center grade, turn at speeds of up to 8,000 RPM, pushing up to 115.61 CFM of airflow, at 64.4 dBA of noise output. Among the CPU socket types supported are Intel LGA2066, LGA1700, AMD AM5, and AM4. Dynatron claims that the cooler is capable of handling thermal loads of up to 250 W.

Dynatron Unveils A50 3U Rack Air Cooler for sTRX4 and sWRX8

The Dynatron A50 is designed for those using AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors in a quasi-server setting, in 3U rack cases. It is a super-compact tower-type CPU Cooler designed to augment the rack airflow. The cooler measures 82 mm x 119 mm x 110 mm (WxDxH), weighing 600 g, but is capable of thermal loads of up to 280 W TDP. This is possibly solely due to the insanely high airflow of its custom 80 mm fan. This fan turns at speeds of up to 8,000 RPM, pushing 38.3 CFM of airflow, but at 64.4 dBA noise output, and nearly 24 W power-draw. Its design involves a base-plate with retention module for sTRX4/xWRX8, from which four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes convey heat to a dense aluminium channel heatsink.

Scythe Announces Mark III Revision of its Kotetsu CPU Cooler

Scythe is set to release the latest iteration of its long running series of Kotetsu CPU coolers, the "Mark III." The Japanese cooling specialists have revised the compact heatsink design in order to maximize performance. A densely spaced array of 0.4 mm aluminium fins surrounds four 6 mm diameter copper heat pipes. These are connected to a large nickel-plated copper 40x40 mm base plate. Aesthetic improvements include a black top cover with a sleek looking anodized brushed metal finish.

The new generation Kaze Flex II 120 mm PWM fan completes the package. It boasts impressive technical capabilities, and is capable of operating between 200 - 1500RPM, with a maximum air flow of 67.62 CFM and 1.5 mmH2O of static pressure. Its highly optimized frame design and anti-vibration rubber padding allows for excellent air flow combined with low-noise operation. The High Precision FDB system ensures a long operating lifespan of up to 120,000 hours. Scythe's upgraded Retention System Ver. 5 allows for a wide range of compatible CPU socket types. Jonsbo Unveils HP400S-New 40 mm-tall Low-Profile CPU Cooler with 140W Capacity

Jonsbo today unveiled the HP400S-New, a top-flow, low-profile CPU cooler with a claimed thermal capacity of 140 W, and with a height of just 40 mm. A major revision of the HP400S from February 2022, the "-New" revision uses a thicker fin-stack and a faster fan. The cooler uses a dense aluminium fin-stack heatsink with a C-type design. Four 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat to an aluminium fin-stack arranged along the plane of the motherboard. This is then ventilated by a 15 mm-thick 90 mm fan that turns between 900—3,000 RPM, with 12.59—38.18 CFM of airflow, and 20.2—34 dBA noise output. With the fan in place, the cooler measures all of 103 mm x 92 mm x 40 mm, weighing 350 g. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, AM5, AM4, LGA1200, and LGA115x.

Noctua Presents CPU Coolers for Intel's LGA-4677 Xeon Platform

The cooler features a classic top-flow design, with an extruded aluminium monoblock heatsink, and a low-profile 80 mm fan. The heatsink is made entirely of copper, and comes with a pre-applied TIM. The factory-fitted 80 mm fan is just 10.8 mm thick, takes in 4-pin PWM connection, turns at speeds ranging between 600 to 3,000 RPM, pushing up to 26.53 CFM of airflow, at 1.81 mm H₂O static-pressure, and up to 27.09 dBA noise output. Measuring 80 mm x 80 mm x 41.3 mm, the cooler weighs 222 g. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Noctua Presents NH-L9a-AM5 Low-profile CPU Coolers for AMD Ryzen

Noctua today presented the latest addition to its successful NH-L9 series of low-profile CPU coolers: At a height of only 37 mm, the new NH-L9a-AM5 and NH-L9a-AM5 chromax.black are an excellent choice for quiet, ultra-compact HTPCs or Small Form Factor (SFF) systems using AMD's latest, AM5-based Ryzen processors.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Atmos AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Features User-replaceable Block Covers

At the 2023 International CES, Cooler Master showed off a unique all-in-one liquid closed-loop CPU cooler that features user-replaceable pump-block covers, the MasterLiquid Atmos. The top cover of the pump-block comes off, so you can replace it with something with a different shape or color. Examples of these covers include a frosty-white cover made of recycled plastic resin, or a tinted acrylic diffuser. Underneath is a white silicone diffuser for an ARGB lighting element. The lighting extends to the included Cooler Master Sickleflow ARGB fans.

The MasterLiquid Atmos model shown at CES was the ML360 Atmos, featuring a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator with a trio of Sickleflow ARGB fans. These fans come pre-installed on the radiator, to minimize packaging waste. The ML360 Atmos uses a dual-chamber pump-block, which features CM's Gen 2 ARGB lighting. The company didn't go into the technical details of the fan, but mentioned its top speed to be 2,400 RPM. The MasterLiquid Atmos series comes in two variants, 240 mm and 360 mm. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, LGA1200, AM5, and AM4.

Wizmax Micronics PC Cooling at CES: MA Frigate and MA Falcon CPU Coolers, Warp Shield Heatsinks

Wizmax by Micronics introduced a handful new CPU coolers and purpose-build heatsinks at the 2023 International CES. The CPU cooler lineup is led by the MA Frigate series. The MA4 Frigate, a thick single aluminium fin-stack tower-type cooler. Five 6 mm-thick copper heatpipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat through a thick aluminium fin-stack, which is ventilated by a custom-design 130 mm fan. With this fan in place, the cooler measures 132 mm x 95 mm x 156.4 mm (WxDxH), weighing 990 g. The fan turns at speeds of up to 1,500 RPM, pushing up to 71.7 CFM of airflow at 1.9 mm H₂O static-pressure. The MA4 Frigate is rated for handling thermal loads of up to 210 W.

The Wizmax MA6 Frigate is the larger sibling, with a type-D dual fin-stack design. Six 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes make indirect contact with the CPU through a copper base, conveying heat to two fin-stacks, which are ventilated by a pair of 140 mm fans in push-pull arrangement. One-third of the fins in the two fin-stacks are made of copper, and the rest aluminium. Each of the two 140 mm fans turns at speeds of up to 1,500 RPM, pushing up to 83 CFM of airflow at 2.2 mm H₂O. With the fans in place, the cooler measures 146 mm x 165 mm x 165 mm (WxDxH), weighing 1.6 kg. The MA6 Frigate is rated for 250 W thermal loads. Both coolers support the latest CPU socket types, including AM5 and LGA1700.

DeepCool Gives Air CPU Coolers the Smarts with the Digital Series

With the latest crop of AIO liquid coolers getting some smarts such as displays on the pump-block that put out real-time monitoring information, DeepCool figured why not extend this to air coolers? The new Digital series air CPU coolers by DeepCool come with LCD displays that put out real-time monitoring information such as CPU temperature (as measured at the base-plate), and fan speed.

These are essentially upgrades to the company's aluminium fin tower-type CPU coolers with top-plates that have the display and some electronics, instead of what should normally be a die-cast aluminium plate with some optional lighting. Shown at CES were at least four models with a single fin-stack (type-U) design of various sizes, and one dual fin-stack (type-D) design. All of these have a glossy piano-black acrylic top-plate that's framed by an ARGB diffuser. The LCD segment display is somewhere toward the center. The electronics work independently, but you'll need a 4-pin PWM connection for the fan(s), which also power the electronics; and 3-pin ARGB for the lighting.

DeepCool Assassin IV is the "Air Apparent" to the Company's CPU Cooler Lineup

DeepCool brought a wealth of new PC cooling and casing solutions to the 2023 International CES, and one of the new stuff that caught our eye is their new Assassin IV CPU cooler. When installed, this looks like big dark cube inside your case, with a shroud covering all its sheet-metal. A large aluminium fin-stack heatsink is concealed inside the shroud, to which heat is fed by seven 6 mm-thick heatpipes. A combination of 140 mm and 120 mm fluid-dynamic bearing fans ventilate the heatsink. The cooler is capable of handling thermal loads of up to 280 W, and can match up to 240 mm AIO coolers, so you can even run the top Zen 4 or Rocket Lake processors. In more ways than one, the Assassin IV tries to match the aesthetic of NVIDIA's Founders Edition cards as shown in the example build below.

Cougar Intros Forza 50 and Forza 85 Essential-series Tower-type CPU Coolers

Cougar introduced the Forza 50 Essential and Forza 85 Essential tower-type CPU coolers. The Forza 50 is the lighter and slimmer of the two, with a fin-stack thickness of 50 mm, while the Forza 85 Essential has an 85 mm-thick fin-stack, hence the names. The Forza 50 Essential uses a heatpipe direct-touch (HDT) base, and relies on four 6 mm-thick copper heatpipes to pull heat from the CPU, and convey it through the fin-stack, while the Forza 85 Essential has six of these for the job, but through a nickel-plated copper base-plate.

Both models include a Cougar NHP120 fan. This 120 mm spinner takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins at speeds of up to 2,000 RPM, pushing up to 84.48 CFM of airflow at 4.24 mm H₂O static-pressure, and up to 34.5 dBA noise output. The fans feature hydraulic bearings. With the fan in place, the Forza 50 Essential measures 135 mm x 75 mm x 155 mm (WxDxH) weighing 772 g, while the Forza 85 Essential measures 135 mm x 110 mm x 155 mm, weighing 1.13 kg. Among the CPU socket types supported by both are LGA1700, AM5, AM4, and LGA1200. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Alphacool Announces Eisbaer Pro HPE Aurora AIO CPU Cooler

The multi-talent from Alphacool, the Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO has received an upgrade! It is now available with the extremely powerful NexXxos HPE radiator. This improvement enables even processors with particularly large CPU cores to be cooled even more effectively. The included mounting kit allows high compatibility with all common sockets, including the new AMD AM5.

The NexXxos HPE radiator uses the same materials as the previous NexXxos models, but goes a step further technically. Due to the condensed internal structure, the number of water channels and copper fins has been increased. Thus, a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is improved enormously. Alphacool continues to use the Rise Aurora 120 mm fan. The fan, which can be controlled via PWM, is almost silent at 800 rpm, but still offers a good air throughput together with a high static pressure. The cooler as well as the fans feature digitally addressable RGB LEDs, allowing for a brilliant illumination.

Thermalright Outs Assassin X 90 SE Compact Tower-type CPU Cooler

Thermalright today introduced the Assassin X 90 SE, a compact tower-type CPU cooler designed to replace the stock CPU cooling solution with something that's quieter at stock frequencies. The aluminium fin tower-type cooler features a typical design for its kind—four 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU at an aluminium base; with their ends passing through an aluminium fin-stack that's capped off by a die-case top-plate. This is then ventilated by an included Thermalright TL-G9B 92 mm PWM fan.

The defining feature is the cooler's height of just 118 mm. With its fan in place, the cooler measures 94 mm x 77 mm x 118 mm, weighing 445 g. The included 92 mm fan features fluid dynamic bearing, takes in 4-pin PWM input, turns at speeds of up to 2,400 RPM, pushing up to 43 CFM of airflow at 1.51 mm H₂O pressure, and has a noise output of 27.3 dBA. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, AM5, AM4, and LGA1200. The company didn't reveal pricing.
