The news emerged from a regulatory filing by Colorful's notebook ODM, Clevo, which is a well known notebook manufacturer for several brands. The filings speak of the Colorfire MEOW R15 24, and the MEOW R16 24, which presumably feature 15-inch 16:9 and 16-inch 16:10 displays, respectively.

Both the Colorfire notebooks are powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 series "Hawk Point" mobile processors with full Ryzen AI enablement, while their discrete graphics options include GeForce RTX 4060 series and RTX 4070 series Laptop GPUs. The listings also mention at 180 W power supply for the MEOW R15 24; and a 230 W one for the MEOW R16 24, which seems to tally well with a combination of a Ryzen 8040HS series 45 W-class processor, and a GeForce RTX 4060/4070 series GPU with configured total graphics power in the 130 W to 160 W range.

Clevo is a notebook maker based in Taiwan that's in the business of cranking out gaming laptops that often get rebadged by companies such as Alienware, Sager and VoodooPC. The new Clevo D900c model turns easily into the world's fastest notebook with the help of Intel Core 2 Duo/Extreme X6800, Intel P965 motherboard, 2x NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX 512MB in SLI, 17-inch WXGA (1680 x 1050) or WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display, up to 4GB RAM, up to 3 HDD's in RAID configuration and 2-bay optical drive support. Availability should be in the late April to early May time frame. Other manufacturers like Pro-Star and likely Alienware will also take the D900C and rebadge it as their own. The Clevo D900C should appear at CeBIT in Hannover Germany this week.
