Team Group at the 2024 Computex showcased its flagship gaming and overclocking memory kit, the T-Force Xtreem DDR5 series. The cooling solution features a heavy aluminium heat-spreader, with a diamond-cut T-Force logo. Besides the usual black and white colors, at Computex Team Group unveiled a pink version of its T-Force Xtreme. This DDR5 memory kit comes in capacities of 1x 16 GB, 2x 16 GB, 2x 24 GB, 2x 32 GB, and 2x 48 GB; and speeds ranging between DDR5-6400 to DDR5-7600.

M.2-2280 SSDs are always smaller than they look in pictures, a quarter of the size of a DIMM, but we've come across some huge cooling solutions. One of the most interesting of these is the T-Force Dark Airflow 06 magnetic-stacked cooling solution. An extruded aluminium heatsink with its fins positioned sideways, has two flattened surfaces, one of which makes contact with the SSD, the other is equally flat, and can make contact with another such heatsink.

A 20 mm fan pushes airflow sideways through the heatsink. The heatsink is magnetized to help with the stacking. The Dark Airflow 05 is a more conventional fin-stack heatsink that isn't expandable, it uses a simple aluminium fin-stack to which heat is fed by two copper heatpipes. The T-Force GE Pro Gen 5 is an M.2-2280 drive that leads Team Group's gaming SSD lineup. It comes in capacities of up to 4 TB, with transfer speeds of 14 GB/s reads, with up to 11 GB/s writes. The T-Create I54 Ai Gen 5 is not far behind, with a 4 TB, and up to 14 GB/s sequential speeds on tap, with a large amount of SLC caching that should benefit AI workloads.

G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world's leading brand of performance overclock memory and PC components, is showcasing multiple high-speed overclocked DDR5 memory kits on live-demo systems featuring the latest Intel and AMD platforms at Computex 2024. Aiming to demonstrate the maximum overclocking potential of the latest G.SKILL DDR5 memory on the latest platforms, these live-demo builds feature DDR5 memory speeds of up to DDR5-10600 and a variety of high-performance motherboards from ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI.

Aiming for the highest DDR5 memory speed possible, G.SKILL shows off a 32 GB (16 GB x2) capacity memory kit running at a whopping speed of DDR5-10600 with an AMD Ryzen 5 8500G processor and ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard.

The MONTECH MKey PRO 75% keyboard, available in Darkness and Freedom editions, is a versatile compact (323 x 137 x 45 mm) mechanical keyboard, featuring built-in tri-mode connectivity options: Bluetooth 5.2, Wireless 2.4Ghz, and USB-C wired. The MKey PRO 75% Darkness features pre-lubed Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow switches, while the PRO 75% Freedom utilizes Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches. Both keyboards support VIA and QMK software for customizable key mappings and macros, a multifunctional rotary knob for easy control, a gasket design and Poron padding for enhanced typing comfort and sound dampening. The MKey PRO 75% is expected to launch in Q3 of this year at an MSRP of $79 for both the Darkness and Freedom versions.

Sitting right next to them MONTECH had on display the MA1 and MA2 concept mechanical keyboards, the key element here is that the full body is made of aluminium, looks great, and feels (are) heavy, let's hope they will turn into a real product in the future.

Team Group showed off its latest portable SSDs at the 2024 Computex. We begin our tour of the Team Group booth with the T-Force M400, a portable SSD that takes advantage of the 40 Gbps USB4 interface to serve up phenomenal transfer speeds of up to 3700 MB/s reads, with up to 3400 MB/s writes. The M400 comes in capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB. The T-Create P35 is a compact high-security portable SSD, which comes with native encryption, and the SSD Security Toolbox interface that protects data even against bruteforcing and BadUSB attacks. This drive packs TCG-Opal 2.0 with 256-bit AES hardware encryption. The drive takes advantage of the 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, and offers transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s reads/writes.

The T-Create CinemaPr P31 is a high performance portable SSD meant for lossless digital cinematography. It's designed to fit with popular cinema camera rigs, as well as video rigs made of DSLRs or even smartphones. The drive features a 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, and has up to 2000 MB/s of transfer speeds on tap, with enough speeds for 4K or 8K raw captures. There's also the T-Create CinemaPr R41 CFexpress 4.0 Type B, a related product with similar camera-mounting capabilities.

MONTECH booth at Computex 2024 is full of new and updated products, in the PC cases area we found 4 new models: SKY 3, HS01, HS01 Mini, and KING 95 MEGA. The SKY 3 has a curved glass front and two small 80 mm fans at the bottom front to cool the graphics card better. The HS01 has a special inset tray for the motherboard. The HS01 Mini is a small case with clever insides and a power supply that can be moved around. Lastly, the KING 95 MEGA is a big dual-chamber case, it promises excellent cooling with space for a large 420 mm radiator on top and a 360 mm radiator at the bottom. It also has a movable side fan holder to keep the graphics card cool.

The SKY 3 is the newest mid-sized case in the SKY series. The front has a curved glass panel, and it can fit the newest big graphics cards like the 4090. For cooling, it can hold a 360 mm radiator on top and a 240 mm radiator on the side. At the bottom front, it has two small 80 mm fans that push air toward the graphics card. It also comes with 2x RX140mm fans near the motherboard and one colorful AX140mm ARGB PWN fan at the back, so it has good airflow right from the start. The SKY 3 can also work with motherboards that have their connectors on the back. MONTECH plans to sell the SKY 3 in Q2 of 2025, the black one will cost $119, and the white one will be a bit more at $125.

ASRock Rack sells the entire stack of servers a data-center could possibly want, and at Computex 2024, the company showed us their servers meant for AI GPUs. The 6U8M-GENOA2, as its name suggests, is a 6U server based on 2P AMD EPYC 9004 series "Genoa" processors in the SP5 package. You can configure it with even the variants of "Genoa" that come with 3D V-cache, for superior compute performance from the large cache. Each of the two SP5 sockets is wired to 12 DDR5 RDIMM slots, for a total of 24 memory channels. The server supports eight AMD Instinct MI300X or MI325X AI GPUs, which it wires out using Infinity Fabric links and PCIe Gen 5 x16 individually. A 3 kW 80 Plus Titanium PSU keeps the server fed. There are vacant Gen 5 x16 slots left even after connecting the GPUs, so you could give it a DPU-based 40 GbE NIC.

The 6U8X-EGS2 B100 is a 6U AI GPU server modeled along the 6U8M-GENOA2, with a couple of big changes. To begin with, the EPYC "Genoa" chips make way for a 2P Intel Xeon Socket E (LGA4677) CPU setup, for 2P Xeon 5 "Emerald Rapids" processors. Each socket is wired to 16 DDR5 DIMM slots (the processor itself has 8-channel DDR5, but this is a 2 DIMM-per-channel setup). The server integrates an NVIDIA NVSwitch that wires out NVLinks to eight NVIDIA B100 "Blackwell" AI GPUs. The server features eight HHHL PCIe Gen 5 x16, and five FHHL PCIe Gen 5 x16 connectors. There are vacant x16 slots for your DPU/NIC, you can even use an AIC NVIDIA BlueField card. The same 3 kW PSU as the "Genoa" system is also featured here.

AeroCool spawned its APNX brand last year, aiming to offer dedicated products for gamers and high-end users so there's no wonder that at Computex it will bring something new. APNX V1 is as AeroCool likes to call it, "the finest case", and it should be since it was completely engineered from the ground. With generous sizes, it can accommodate a myriad of platforms and thanks to large transparent panels (option for a wood panel on the side available) is also tailored for the finest custom-builds. Supports 2x 16 cm fans in angular intake front panel, and mesh ventilation panels, with quick-release cooling brackets at the front, top, and bottom. It has enough room for cooling options with up to 360 mm radiators and 10 fan slots in total.

Next to APNX V1, we spotted a few other new and updated cases, in various formats, with large meshed front panels, some of them featuring neat wooden panels and inserts. Another new release from AeroCool is the MAX P1 1300 W / 1000 W 80 Plus Platinum certified fully modular power supply series, made by Tier 1 PSU manufacturer CWT, and coming with a 15-year warranty, we see no reason to complain. These PSUs are compliant with ATX 3.1 standard and use Japanese capacitors and a 135 mm silent FDB fan.

At Computex 2024, we went hands-on with the only custom-design AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card to implement the 16-pin 12V-2x6 power connector. We've written quite a bit about this card, but weren't expecting it to be this long. This isn't just the only RX 7900 XTX with a 12V-2x6, but also the only air-cooled RX 7900 XTX that's strictly 2 slots-thick. ASRock made this card for graphics rendering farms, or AI development/inferencing builds, in which a GPU server would have 4-6 of these packed like sardines. The lateral blower helps ensure proper ventilation. The backplate is recessed to ensure better ventilation to the neighboring card.

The card sticks to AMD reference clock speeds of 2270 MHz Game clock, and 20 Gbps (GDDR6-effective) memory speed. ASRock also gave us a technical deep-dive into the card's design. For one, it's confirmed that the power connector is 12V-2x6 (H++) and not 12VHPWR. The cooling solution consists of a large copper vapor-chamber plate that makes contact with the GPU, memory, and VRM; conveying heat to an aluminium channel heatsink, which is ventilated by a high-speed lateral blower. The cooler shroud and backplate are both made of aluminium.

ASRock at the 2024 Computex presented a massive lineup of gaming and overclocking motherboards based on the Intel Z890 chipset. The company is not allowed to use the term "Z890," and refers to it as "next-gen Intel," but for convenience's sake, we will use Z890 in this article. Z890 is the highest tier desktop chipset for Socket LGA1851, which will power the Core Ultra "Arrow Lake-S" desktop processors that launch in Q4 2024. With the Z890 generation, ASRock stratified its coveted Taichi brand of high-end motherboards further up, clubbing its enthusiast-grade OC Formula brand along with it.

There are now Taichi OCF motherboards with either 1-DIMM per channel memory configurations (best dual-channel topology for memory overclocking), or with a new CAMM2 slot. There's also a mainline Taichi Lite, which is a no-frills variant with less bling, and essential high-end features such as a strong VRM and good onboard audio; and there's also the new Taichi Aqua, targeting the creator crowd, with its liquid-cooled VRM+SSD heatsink setup.

Besides the impressive supercapacitor mouse, i-Rocks showed its conventional battery-based wireless mouse, the M31R. We are seeing a trend at Computex that mouse manufacturers are more interested in boasting about their interface polling rates, than their sensor resolution. With resolutions nearly 16,000 dpi, that aspect of the mouse is sorted, however, for a wireless mouse to be as competitive as a wired one, it needs a snappy interface. The M31R offers an 8,000 Hz interface polling rate, an 8x increase over the 1,000 Hz USB standard. The 8,000 Hz polling rate is available both for wired and wireless (RF) interfaces, however the Bluetooth interface is a little slower. Another theme with the i-Rocks keyboard lineup was the dominance of Hall Effect keyswitches. i-Rocks shows a bunch of them with different actuation profiles.

i-Rocks at the 2024 Computex showed us an interesting take on tenkeyless mechanical gaming keyboards. The main QWERTY cluster is where it should be, but has Function keys above it instead of the number keys, which is a break-out module that you can position either above or below. The arrow keys, along with the INS/DEL/Home/End/PageUp/PageDn cluster is now on the left side, where they're more accessible for competitive gaming.

This particular model is wired, with a USB-C/A interface. The K85H by i-Rocks is an 85% format keyboard with Hall Effect key switches, and a physical volume dial. The K104H is a 60% wireless keyboard with the same technology, but a higher 800 Hz wireless polling rate. The K73 series and K74 series span the conventional 100% format. The K85R is a step up from the K85H, but with a tiny OLED screen.

At Computex this year, Biwin also showcases a range of PCIe M.2 2280 SSDs, spanning from PCIe Gen 5 and Gen 4 to PCIe Gen 3. The reason behind this diverse lineup seems to be Biwin's intention to cater to users who may not have newer systems but still wish to benefit from PCIe M.2 storage advantages at lower costs. For PCIe Gen 5, Biwin has the X570 M.2 SSDs (512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, 4 TB) that are capable of reaching speeds of up to 14500 MB/s sequential read, 14000 MB/s sequential write.

For users with PCIe Gen 4 platforms, Biwin shows the NV7400 M.2 (and NV7400 Heatsink) SSDs that reach speeds up to 7450 MB/s read, and 7200 MB/s write, and NV7200 (7200 MB/s read, 6200 MB/s write). Both come with 512 MB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities. Now for even older platforms, Biwin has the NV3500 PCIe 3.0 SSD, capable of 3500 MB/s read, and 3000 MB/s write speeds (max), and is available with 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities.

Capacitors take an infinitesimally lower amount of time to gather charge than batteries and tend to be generally lighter, i-Rocks is putting this fact to good use with its Quick Charging Wireless Mouse prototype showcased at the 2024 Computex. The device charges up to full in 5 minutes for 4-30 days of use, depending on the current. If you're in a hurry, just plug it in for a minute, and you can get through the day. Also, the capacitor is rated for 100,000 recharge cycles, compared to the 1,000 cycles that the lithium-ion batteries powering contemporary wireless gaming mice come with. The capacitor is lighter than batteries, and is exempt from the kind of travel and transport restrictions lithium-ion batteries have to deal with—you don't need to put this mouse in your carry-on, and can check it in at the airport. i-Rocks said that they plan to launch this mouse later this year. The company is also working on wireless keyboards based on capacitors.

Elgato, Corsair's game streaming and content creator-focussed brand, showcased its latest portfolio of Stream Deck control panels, mics, lighting, and boom armatures, except they're all so colorful and themed. We've seen not just Elgato, but even Corsair, pivot to customization, with its Corsair Custom Lab service. Elgato has its Wave 3 microphones in close to a dozen new design collections, and its Stream Deck control panels in eight of them. Most notably, their Fallout collection that they recently announced.

Elgato also showed off its next-generation Neo series of Stream Deck, Wave microphone, Facecam, and Key Light. These come in a silvery-white finish, and a more compacted design. The Stream Deck Neo features eight programmable buttons, each with a higher resolution OLED display, and a rectangular display called the Infobar. Although designed for its core market of game streamers, Elgato is also targeting the home-office crowd with this device. It is priced at $99.99. The Facecam Neo is a high-performance 1080p 60 Hz HDR webcam with a 26 mm 1:2.0 autofocus lens, and a CMOS sensor. The central theme behind the Neo series carries on, and this webcam is targeted as much toward the home-office crowd as it is at game streamers.

PowerColor is known more for its AMD Radeon custom-design graphics cards, is entering the gaming peripherals market. The company already had a few mousepads, and a co-branded Ducky keyboard, but is now unveiling some first-party gaming mice. Leading the effort is the Alphyn AM10, a right-oriented wireless gaming mouse that's suitable for palm- and claw grip styles. It comes in black- and white body color options, and supports wireless- and wired connectivity. This includes USB for the least latency, 2.4 GHz RF for lower latency wireless (but which requires a dongle); and Bluetooth. The mouse supports 8K polling rate, Omron optical switches for the main buttons, and macros with onboard memory.

This might be the gaming monitor some of you have been waiting for, as Cooler Master has pulled out all the stops with its GP57ZS monitor that the company was showing at Computex. Apart from being a massive 57-inches, the monitor offers dual 4K resolution, or 7680 x 2160 pixels, which are lit up by a 2304-zone Mini LED backlight. We've seen similar displays from both Samsung and Acer. Cooler Master is clearly using the same VA panel as the previously mentioned companies and you also get the same 1000R curvature here, which means the GP57ZS isn't going to be for everyone. Cooler Master didn't provide any refresh rate details, nor the types of inputs that will be on offer.

In addition to this, Cooler Master also showed off a pair of new 27-inch models, both sporting a 2560 x 1440 resolution. The cheaper GM27QP gets a 1500R curved 160 Hz VA panel and HDR400 support, as well as a DP 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 inputs. It also gets to make do with basic Adaptive Sync VRR, but it does have gaming features like crosshair, an FPS counter and black stabilisation. The more premium GP27QP on the other hand gets a flat display panel of unknown type with a 240 Hz refresh rate, which is illuminated by an 1152 zone Mini LED backlight. Typical brightness is 350 nits and the contrast ratio is 2500:1, but the display is also HDR1000 certified. Connectivity is seriously upgraded here with two DP 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 inputs, as well as a USB Type-C input that also delivers 96 Watts of USB PD power. In addition to this, there's also a USB Type-B input and three USB Type-A outputs. For some reason it seems like Cooler Master has stuck with Adaptive Sync on this model too, but this model does at least gain support for Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture support.

We paid a visit to Endorfy's Computex 2024 booth and found a few interesting things. First off is the LIV Plus Wireless gaming mouse. Designed with gamers and esports players in mind, this ultra-lightweight and ultra-precise mouse aims to enhance endurance and efficiency during extended gaming sessions. At the heart of the LIV Plus Wireless lies the PixArt PAW3395 sensor, a high-performance optical sensor that delivers exceptional tracking accuracy and responsiveness. With a maximum resolution of 25,600 DPI, even the slightest movements are captured with pinpoint precision, giving players a competitive edge.

ID-Cooling stole the spotlight at Computex 2024 with its impressive lineup of new all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers, air coolers, and an ingenious daisy-chained fan system. At the forefront of ID Cooling's offerings were their latest AIO liquid coolers, designed to provide unparalleled cooling performance for high-end gaming rigs and overclocked systems. The flagship model, the DL360 MAX, boasted a massive 360 mm radiator, high-static pressure pump, RGB lighting effects, and an LCD monitor on the pump/CPU block, promising to keep even the most demanding CPUs and GPUs running at optimal temperatures, which you can monitor live. For more demanding tasks, there is a HUNTER GOL liquid cooler lineup with two 360 mm radiators attached to a single block, designed for extreme overclocking. Other AIO solutions like the FX360, DX360, and SL360 variants were also at the booth.

At Computex 2024, Colorful has followed the success of their popular COLORFIRE MEOW Series gaming desktops. The company has unleashed two fierce new gaming laptops - the COLORFIRE MEOW R15 and R16. These portable laptops are adorned with designs inspired by Bobi, COLORFIRE's beloved office cat. From paw print patterns to a sleek orange tabby color scheme, the laptops are littered with feline flair. Under the cat-inspired hood, the MEOW laptops pack a serious punch. They are equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 8000 Series processors tailored for gaming, content creation, and entertainment. AMD Ryzen AI technology provides a boost to artificial intelligence capabilities. Both run on the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with eight cores, 16 threads, and a 5.1 GHz maximum boost clock. The Ryzen AI engine delivers up to 39 TOPS for accelerated AI performance. For graphics, the laptops feature up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with 140 W of power.

The R15 has a 15.6-inch 2560x1440 IPS panel with 100% sRGB color and 165 Hz refresh rate. The R16 goes even bigger with a 16-inch 2560x1600 IPS display, 100% sRGB, and 240 Hz refresh. AMD FreeSync is there as well to ensure a tear-free experience. Colorful has outfitted the laptops with dual turbo fans, a 6-heatpipe solution, and performance control software to tame the heat from the powerful components. When it's time to pounce on the latest games, these MEOW laptops have the fierce cooling to keep their claws out.

At Computex 2024, Colorful has launched an ultra-exclusive new graphics card - the iGame Lab 4090. This limited edition GPU is squarely targeted at hardcore overclockers and performance enthusiasts willing to pay top dollar for the absolute best. With only 300 units produced globally, the iGame Lab 4090 represents the pinnacle of Colorful's engineering efforts. Each chip was hand-selected from thousands after rigorous binning to ensure premium silicon capable of extreme overclocks. The card's striking aesthetics feature a clean white shroud with silver accent armor. Beyond the intricate design, the real draw is performance. At Computex 2024, Colorful has introduced a new PC series of premium componentry for games, called iGame Ultra Series. Carrying a premium white aesthetics, the Ultra Series serves as clean and elegant component for PC builds. At the heart of the Ultra Series is the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card. The card has a triple-fan cooling solution with vapor chamber technology that keeps temperatures under control. Powering this GPU is the iGame Z790D5 Ultra motherboard. Supporting the latest Intel 14th Gen CPUs and up to 192 GB of DDR5-7800 RAM. An array of ultra-fast PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 M.2 slots allow multiple high-speed SSDs for ridiculous storage performance. Keeping all of these elite components running is the 850 W iGame P850G Ultra W 80 Plus Gold power supply. Its modular design with dedicated PCIe 5.0 connectors ensures clean cable management and stable power delivery. At Computex 2024, Super Flower showcased the Leadex VII 2800 W PSU, the latest and most powerful power supply unit (PSU). The Leadex series has achieved an 80 Plus Platinum certification for energy efficiency, it also meets the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, including updated 12 V power connectors. The PSU has four of these new 12 V connectors, allowing it to power multiple power-hungry graphics cards simultaneously. The Leadex uses high-quality Japanese capacitors for stable power output and longevity. It has a fluid dynamic bearing fan with a copper shaft to enable superior heat dissipation and cooling, even under heavy workloads.

This is not a product for everyday users, not even many enthusiasts would ever need this monster but for professionals that run things like LLMs, and Stable Diffusion workstations, seems to be a developing niche market. The release date for Super Flower's Leadex VII hasn't been confirmed.

Sharkoon brought an impressive set of PC cases to the 2024 Computex. We begin our tour with the most eye-catching of them all, the Rebel C70 RGB. This case has some real wood embellishments along its front-panel, which gives it a very Scandinavian look. The four included RGB fans put out a warm tone out of the box to add to this look. There are two variants, one with a tempered glass side-panel, the other solid-metal. There are a total of 11 fan mounts, and you can install up to three large radiators. A detachable mounting frame helps with radiator installation. Some other neat touches include a graphics card reinforcement brace.

The Elite Shark CA500 is a beautiful ATX mid-tower with a pillarless front-left corner, with the front- and left side glass panels being a single continuous panel that curves around the edge, rather than two panels meeting at the edge, causing a seam to form. Although a proper mid-tower with glass panels extending to the entire height of the case, and over 16 cm clearance for CPU coolers, this is a "slender" case, with no vertical expansion slots. There's also the Elite Shark CM100, a compacted Micro-ATX version of the CA500, with the same essential design, including the seamless pillarless edge. Both these cases support backside connector motherboards such as the ASUS BTF. The AK5 RGB is a bolt mid-tower case with glass panels making up the front- and left panels, but this isn't pillarless. The front fans breathe through intakes along the trapezoid structure. The case comes in black and white colors, with a contemporary layout.
