GALAX Presents Master Edition GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER HoF OC Card

GALAX is known to go overboard with its top flight graphic card models—the introduction of GeForce RTX 40 SUPER models has further lengthened the manufacturer's naming conventions. A Hall of Fame (HOF) OC LAB Master Edition card based on NVIDIA's freshly launched GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU has been introduced via a Galaxy BBS blog post. As befits such a fancily named card, GALAX has rolled out the red carpet with a very special cooling solution that is designed to temper a substantial (211 MHz) overclock over Team Green's reference settings. Its 2685 MHz spec sits atop the customized GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU pile—VideoCardz notes that another high-end option—GIGABYTE's AORUS RTX 4070 SUPER MASTER model—trails by a 30 MHz margin.

The GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Hall of Fame OC LAB Master Edition graphics card sports an almost all-white design, even its PCB is outfitted in a pale hue. This Ada Lovelace AD104-350-A1-driven flagship is specced with a 250 W TGP as standard, user-adjustable up to 320 W. A three-pin to sixteen-pin adapter is supplied by default; ensuring that more than enough juice is supplied. GALAX states that the card features a 12+3 phase design, coupled with a power section is controlled by an XDPE10281 PWM. The Chinese manufacturer hints that more white Master Edition SUPER models are incoming (see below). We hope to see further announcements, and full product pages uploaded to their web site(s), but GALAX is unlikely to sell these top flight cards outside of their native market.

GALAX Intros GeForce RTX 4080 HOF with 470W Power Limit

GALAX today introduced its top air-cooled custom-design graphics card powered by the GeForce RTX 4080 "Ada," the RTX 4080 HOF (Hall of Fame). The all-white card is not just a 4-slot, monstrosity, but also has an extremely tall cooler, including some aesthetic bits that extend beyond the regular height of the cooler. These bits are detachable, although the idea behind them is that the card will be installed vertically—either on a test bench, or a vertical slot.

There are three variants of this card. The RTX 4080 HOF OC Lab Plus-X is the top-dog with 2640 MHz boost frequency out of the box (compared to 2505 MHz reference), and the HOF Panel III accessory (an LCD display panel that puts out real-time monitoring stats of the card). The second variant is the RTX 4080 HOF OC Lab Plus, which is essentially the Plus-X, without the HOF Panel III. The RTX 4080 HOF OC Lab is the "lite" variant among the three, with a 2595 MHz boost frequency, and no HOF Panel III. What's important is that all three variants come with a delicious power-limit. With their "Performance" BIOS enabled, the cards have a 400 W power-limit, with a slider limit (manually tunable) of 470 W. With the "Silent" BIOS, this limit drops all the way down to the NVIDIA-reference 320 W. All three cards come with a single 16-pin 12VHPWR rated for 600 W input.

GALAX showed off its GeForce RTX 4090 HOF (hall of fame) graphics card targeting enthusiasts. The card is meant to be paired with extreme cooling solutions to climb up benchmarking leaderboards. A massive 27+4 phase VRM powers the card, which pulls power from two 12+4 pin ATX 12VHPWR connectors for a theoretical maximum power draw of 1275 W. The idea behind the two connectors is to support a power-limit that's above 600 W. We'll have to wait and see what it is, but we doubt it's "1200 W."

The additional power connector should also help soak up excursions during intense benchmarking sessions, which could otherwise destabilize the OC and cause the benchmark to crash. The production of the card, in its OCLab Edition SKU, typically ships with a Bitspower-sourced water block. If you're having déjà vu reading this post, it's because this is actually the second HOF graphics card by GALAX to feature two 12VHPWR inputs, the previous one was the RTX 3090 Ti HOF, which was released in April 2022.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Gets Custom 890 Watt XOC BIOS

Extreme overclocking is an enthusiast discipline where overclockers try to push their hardware to extreme limits. Combining powerful cooling solutions like liquid nitrogen (LN2), which reaches sub-zero temperatures alongside modified hardware, the silicon can output tremendous power. Today, we are witnessing a custom XOC (eXtreme OverClocking) BIOS for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card that can push the GA102 SKU to impressive 890 Watts of power, representing almost a two-fold increase to the stock TDP. Enthusiasts pursuing large frequencies with their RTX 3090 Ti are likely users of this XOC BIOS. However, most likely, we will see GALAX HOF or EVGA KINGPIN cards with dual 16-pin power connectors utilize this.

As shown below, MEGAsizeGPU, the creator of this BIOS, managed to push his ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 Ti TUF with XOC BIOS to 615 Watts, so KINGPIN and HOF designs will have to be used to draw all the possible heat. The XOC BIOS was uploaded to our VGA BIOS database, however, caution is advised as this can break your graphics card.

GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 Ti HOF OCLab Edition PCB Pictured

Here are some of the first pictures of the drool-worthy GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Hall of Fame (HOF) OCLab Edition graphics card, courtesy of Duck OC. This is the first production graphics card to feature two ATX 3.0 16-pin power connectors, each capable of delivering 600 W of power. The card's power limit out of the box is reportedly as high as 516 W, and as we've discussed in an older article, the decision to go with a dual 16-pin connector setup may have to do with limited availability of PSUs with 16-pin connectors, and enthusiasts relying on the NVIDIA-designed adapter that converts three 8-pin PCIe power connectors to a 16-pin, for a maximum power of "just" 450 W.

The RTX 3090 Ti HOF OCLab Edition sticks to the long tradition of GALAX HOF graphics cards with white PCBs, with plenty of overclocker-relevant features such as consolidated voltage measurement points, a decluttered component layout for volt-modding, anti-condensation surface-treatments on the PCB, dual-BIOS, and lots more. The card features a 28-phase VRM, with 24 phases for the GPU, and 4 phases for the memory. The OCLab Edition SKU in particular comes with an included full-coverage water block sourced from Bitspower. The block features nickel-plated copper as its primary material, and a clear-acrylic top that's studded with addressable-RGB LEDs. There's also an air-cooled variant of this card, but it lacks the OCLab tuning.

GALAX Readies HOF-branded DDR5 Overclocking Memory

GALAX on Facebook announced that it is developing its next generation of DDR5 memory modules targeted at overclockers. The modules are possibly made under the HOF (Hall of Fame) brand, as the announcement comes from the company's OC Lab handle that markets its HOF series products. The announcement also comes with pictures of trays of DDR5 DRAM chips made by Micron Technology. With major DIY gaming/overclocking memory brands announcing development of DDR5 memory products, one wonders where the platforms for these memory modules are. It's rumored that Intel's upcoming 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake-S" processor in the LGA1700 package could feature a DDR5 memory interface. AMD's first client-desktop platform with DDR5 would see the transition to the new AM5 socket.

GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) Edition GPU Benched with Custom 1000 W vBIOS

GALAX, the maker of the popular premium Hall Of Fame (HOF) edition of graphics cards, has recently announced its GeForce RTX 3090 HOF Edition GPU. Designed for extreme overclocking purposes, the card is made with a 12 layer PCB, 26 phase VRM power delivery configuration, and three 8-pin power connectors. Today, we have managed to get the first comprehensive review of the card by a Chinese YouTube channel 二斤自制. However, this wasn't just regular testing being conducted on a card with factory settings. The channel has applied 1000 Watt vBIOS to the GPU and ran it all on the air cooler the GPU comes with.

In the default 420 Watt setting, the card has been running with a GPU clock of 1845 MHz and a temperature of 69 degrees Celsius. However, when the 1000 Watt vBIOS was applied to the card, the GPU core has managed to ramp to 2000 MHz and consume as much as 630 W of power. If you were wondering if the stock cooler was able to handle it all, the answer is yes. The card has reached a toasty 96 C temperature. While GALAX doesn't offer BIOS like this, the ID of the BIOS corresponds to that of a custom XOC 1000 W BIOS for EVGA Kingpin GeForce RTX 3090 GPU, which you can find in our database. When it comes to performance, the gains were very minimal at only 2-3%. That must have been due to the insufficient cooling, and the card could have done much better on water or LN2. GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) Edition GPU Breaks 3 GHz Barrier and 16 World Records

GALAX has just yesterday launched its top-end GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) edition graphics card. Designed with overclocking in mind, the card was spotting many interesting design solutions like 12 layer PCB, 26 phase VRM power delivery configuration, and three 8-pin power connectors. If you were wondering if any application is going to use that much power and if all of that is really needed, don't search for an answer any longer, because GALAX has managed to break some world records with its HOF design. According to the company, the cards sent to overclockers have managed to break 16 world records, which you can find listed below.

Overclockers like OGS from HwBox Hellas OC Team and Rauf from Alza OC have managed to push their HOF cards over the 3.0 GHz barrier, which represents the first GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card to achieve such frequencies. Having the right design. OGS has managed to OC the HOF design to 3015 MHz, while the overclocker Rauf has managed to pull off exactly 3000 MHz. You can find their HWBOT entries in the source.

GALAX Shows Off GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) Edition Graphics Card

GALAX has today decided to take the lid off its upcoming premium GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) edition graphics card and showcase to the world what the company has been working on. The HOF edition is usually GALAX's highest-end custom graphics card design with one simple goal - ultimate performance. Featuring all-white aesthetics, the card has a 12-layer white PCB with a white three fan air cooler. The air cooler features three fans with one in the middle being 92 mm and the other two being 102 mm. The card comes paired with HOF Panel III, representing a small 4.3 inch LCD screen that can stand on its own or stick to the GPU using magnets. It is used for some software diagnostics like temperature monitoring.

The GPU comes with a diamond-shaped aluminium backplate used for additional heat dissipation. When it comes to power delivery, there are three 8-pin connectors (also colored in white to match the aesthetics), that supply 26 VRM phases for the power delivery system. Such configuration is envisioned for extreme overclocking purposes like LN2. There are two BIOS versions, P and S variants, where they are used for maximum performance or quieter operation respectively. The boost frequency of this GPU is 1875 MHz (using one-click OCing), however, any buyer of such a card is not going to just use it like that and will probably prefer to push higher frequencies.

GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) PCB Pictured, Features Massive VRM Configuration

GALAX is preparing to launch its flagship graphics card based on NVIDIA's Ampere lineup of GPU, specifically the GeForce RTX 3090 variant. The company is currently developing the GeForce RTX 3090 Hall Of Fame (HOF) edition GPU that is supposed to have a regular HOF treatment. That means a white aesthetics (white PCB plus white cooling solution), a massive three fan air-cooler, and of course, a PCB that is designed for extreme overclocking. Today, thanks to the sources over at VideoCardz, we have the first look at the PCB of GALAX's upcoming GeForce RTX 3090 HOF edition graphics card.

Featuring a massive VRM configuration consisting out of 26 phases, the GPU is swimming in VRM phases and it is the highest number of VRM phases we have seen on any GeForce RTX 3090 GPU. It is not exactly clear from the pictures how much of the total 26 VRMs is going to Vcore (GPU), and how much to Vmem (memory). To power the card, there are three 8-pin power connectors. It is important to note that these specifications are not finalized, as this is only a prototype. Nonetheless, the card is made with LN2 extreme overclocking in mind and is going to probably be more expensive. There are event probes for voltage measuring directly from the card, to avoid having to do it in software. NVLINK fingers are present as well, meaning that dual-card setups are still an option with this GPU. The real product is expected to arrive sometime in February according to the source, however, we don't know the exact date or pricing.

GALAX Intros HOF OC Lab Diamond DDR4-5000 and HOF OC Lab Phantom Enthusiast Memory

GALAX on Thursday introduced the Hall of Fame (HOF) OC Lab Diamond and HOF OC Lab Phantom lines of enthusiast-segment memory. These kits are led by a DDR4-5000 memory kit with 19-26-26-46 timings. The company didn't put out voltages, but the DDR4-4800 + 19-22-22-46T variant in the same series pulls 1.5 V, so the DDR4-5000 kit is only expected to be equal or higher. Other high-voltage hits include DDR4-4600 18-26-26-42 @1.5 V; DDR4-4400 18-22-22-42 @1.50 V; and DDR4-4266 17-22-22-38 @1.50 V. The HOF OC Lab Diamond memory kits feature chunky aluminium heatspreaders with pearl-white finish and a gold-plated ornament.

The HOF OC Lab Phantom line is positioned a notch below the HOF OC Lab Diamond. It comes in enthusiast-segment memory frequencies of DDR4-4000 17-19-19-38 @1.45 V (19-25-25-25 @1.40 V); DDR4-3866 16-18-18-36 @1.40 V, and DDR4-3600 16-16-16-36 @1.35 V. These modules feature aluminium heatspreaders with an acrylic crown RGB diffuser. The aluminium heatspreader features diamond-cut edges. The company didn't reveal pricing of either kits. At this time only the Greater China regional division of GALAX released the two memory lines.

ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti White Edition Graphics Card Pictured

We live in strange times, with GALAX releasing HOF Black Edition graphics cards, and now ASUS dishing out an ROG Strix White Edition. Unlike GALAX, ASUS limited its whitewash to the cooler shroud, the fan impellers, the back-plate, and even the various internal cables (fans, lighting, etc.,) while leaving the PCB black. The cooler shroud has RGB LED embellishments at the same spots as the original ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, so you can play with color.

The card ships with 1770 MHz GPU Boost frequency, and an untouched 14 Gbps (GDDR6-effective) memory. The GPU Boost frequency in particular is significantly higher than the 1650 MHz of the ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti O11G, and closer to the 1800 MHz that the ROG MATRIX RTX 2080 Ti ships with. The ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti White Edition is priced at 1,600€ (including taxes).

Memory Chip Swap Mod SUPERcharges an RTX 2080 Ti

Overclocking the memory clock of a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti to 2000 MHz (16 Gbps) isn't difficult, but most custom-design RTX 2080 Ti cards cap out at that, and so the enthusiasts over at TecLab took matters into their own hands by pulling off a daring memory chip replacement mod, by installing 16 Gbps-rated memory chips onto a Galax RTX 2080 Ti HOF graphics card. In a 16-minute video presentation, they detail the process of soldering a component as delicate and sensitive as GDDR6 memory chips, and 45 times over. The team had to sacrifice not one, but two Galax GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics cards, which feature 16 Gbps-rated memory chips to support the SKU's 15.5 Gbps memory clock. A total of 33 manual solder operations had to be performed (removing the 15 stock chips from the RTX 2080 Ti, removing 11 chips from the two RTX 2080 Super cards, and soldering them onto the RTX 2080 Ti).

The group detailed the process of removing the memory chips under hot air, giving the extracted chips fresh ball-grids, and placing the chips onto the RTX 2080 Ti PCB. No BIOS modding was required, as the RTX 2080 Ti card's video BIOS was able to auto-detect the chips and run them at 14 Gbps. From here on, manual overclocking easily runs the card at 2000 MHz (16 Gbps) memory, with overclocking headroom to spare. The memory clock could now be dialed all the way up to 2150 MHz (17.2 Gbps), something that's close to impossible with 14 Gbps chips. TecLab is calling their creation the world's first RTX 2080 Ti Super, which could very well be true. Last we heard, the RTX 2080 Ti Super could get more CUDA cores, and not just faster memory. Nevertheless, this mod blew our minds, and provides valuable pointers on how to solder dense BGA components without a multi million-dollar placer. We tip our hats to TecLab.

GALAX HOF E16 is a Monstrous M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD Dressed in White

With AMD "Valhalla" desktop platform mainstreaming PCI-Express gen 4.0, several SSD manufacturers put out their first products that can take advantage of it, this Computex. The drive with the highest on-paper transfer rates has to be the HOF E16 from GALAX, which will also be sold under the Galaxy and KFA2 brands in various markets. Built in the M.2-2280 form-factor, the drive features an M.2 PCI-Express 4.0 x4 host interface (backwards-compatible with older PCIe generations), with 64 Gbps of interface bandwidth on tap. The drive comes in capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, and segment-first 4 TB.

The HOF E16 uses the same heatsink GALAX deployed on the older generation of HOF M.2. A block of aluminium pulls heat from the drive's controller, while a flattened copper heat-pipe spreads heat across. The drive is based on the new Phison E16 controller that's cushioned by an LPDDR4 DRAM chip, and wired to 96-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory. The drive offers sequential read speeds of up to 4,800 MB/s, and sequential writes of up to 4,000 MB/s. 4K random reads are rated at up to 750,000 IOPS, and 4K random writes up to 700,000 IOPS.

GALAX at COMPUTEX 2019: GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 10th Anniversary Edition

GALAX at COMPUTEX 2019 showcased their latest, 10th anniversary iteration of the world's most powerful consumer graphics card. Their GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 10th Anniversary Edition graphics card features the brand's hallmark all-white design, with an RGB element around the center fan of its triple-fan cooling system that represents a time-scale of this 10th anniversary.

The steampunk elements usually present in GALAX's products are still here, in the radial of the two outside fans. The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 10th Anniversary Edition comes prepared for water cooling out of the box in a hybrid solution, and drinks power from three 8-pin connectors.

Galaxy Unveils HOF M.2 PCIe SSD with Heat-pipe Based Heatsink

High-end M.2 NVMe SSDs are beginning to come with integrated heatsinks as overheating controllers impact sustained performance. The latest such drive is a new edition of the Hall of Fame (HOF) M.2 PCIe series from Galaxy, which come with a chunky aluminium heatsink, only this one isn't just another hunk of metal. This heatsink uses a flattened copper heat pipe to pull heat from the drive's hot components and spread it evenly along both sides of the aluminium block. The heat pipe makes direct contact with the drive's Phison PS5012-E12 8-channel controller and Toshiba-made 64-layer 3D TLC NAND flash chips.

The heatsink wraps around sideways of the drive and so it may not be a perfect fit for NVMe RAID cards with multiple M.2 slots side-by-side, although for most applications, such as the M.2 slot on the motherboard, the design could click. The drive comes in capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB. All three models offer sequential read speeds of up to 3400 MB/s. The 1 TB and 2 TB models write at up to 2800 MB/s, while the 512 GB writes at up to 2000 MB/s. 4K random access performance of the 2 TB and 1 TB models are rated at up to 400,000 IOPS reads with up to 600,000 IOPS writes; and up to 400,000 IOPS reads with up to 540,000 IOPS writes for the 512 GB model. The drive is initially being launched in China, and could make its way to western markets under the Galax and KFA2 brands later this year.

KFA2 Goes All White with GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF

The EU-specific brand of GALAX, KFA2 today rolled out its latest flagship graphics card in the old continent, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Hall of Fame (HOF). In true tradition of this brand extension, the card is all-white - including its cooler shroud, fans, back-plate, and the PCB. The custom-design PCB pulls power from a trio of 8-pin PCIe power connectors located at the tail-end of the card rather than on top of it, and conditions it using a 16+3 phase VRM, to support an out-of-the-box speed of 1635 MHz boost, which isn't much higher than the NVIDIA-reference 1545 MHz, but is probably set to leave you a lot of manual OC headroom to play with. The memory is unchanged at 14 Gbps (GDDR6 effective).

The cooling solution uses a large aluminium twin-stack heatsink to which heat drawn from the GPU is fed to the fin-stacks by six nickel-plated copper heat pipes that make direct contact at the base. Additional contact points in the heatsink pull heat from the memory chips and MOSFETs. Three 100 mm fans ventilate the heatsink. The top of the card features an LCD matrix display that can put out live monitoring of temperature, fan-speed, and voltages. When interfaced with an app, it can also put out other details such as clock-speeds and memory utilization. The back-light illumination to this display, along with an ornament on the back-plate, are RGB LED illuminated. The card features two BIOS ROMs switchable via a push-switch. Both BIOSes run the card at the same clock-speeds, however, the second BIOS ramps up power-limit and stiffens the fan-curve. Available now, the KFA2 GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF is priced at 1,899€ (including VAT).

GALAX Starts Selling OC Lab Edition GPU Pot for Extreme LN2 Overclocking

GALAX has announced availability of their OC Lab Edition GPU Pot, a non-plant-based solution for users to cool their graphics cards with. The OC Lab Edition GPU Pot is fully made of 99.9% purity copper, which allows it to withstand up to -196 ºC. Not many more details are available for now, except pricing, and it's something to definitely not smile about: the OC Lab Edition GPU Pot will cost users $229.99.

GALAX, however, being a customer-friendly brand, are suggesting users put down an order for three of these OC Lab Edition GPU Pot alongside three of their own Galax HOF OC Lab WC cards, which go for $1,799... netting you a $600 discount on the pots. So, yeah. There's that. If you want it.

GALAX Also Shows Off Three New SSDs

It's not just fast memory, but also fast storage from GALAX this Computex. The company unveiled three new SSD products, beginning with the Hall of Fame (HOF) E12 AIC PCIe SSD. This drive features signature HOF styling, complete with the white PCB, and a silvery shroud. There's also a dash of RGB LED lighting elements along the top and front of the shroud. The drive comes in 1 TB capacity, and combines 3D TLC NAND flash with new Phison PS5012-E12 controller. The drive takes advantage of PCI-Express 3.1 x4 and the NVMe 1.3 protocol. The drive is capable of sequential speeds of up to 3400 MB/s reads, with up to 3000 MB/s writes, and 4K random access speeds of up to 600,000 IOPS.

Next up, is the GALAX One 2.5-inch SATA drive. The model shown has 240 GB capacity, and combines MLC NAND flash with Phison PS3111-S11 controller, to serve up sequential transfer rates of up to 520 MB/s reads, and up to 460 MB/s writes, and 4K random access speeds of up to 90,000 IOPS reads, with up to 80,000 IOPS writes. Lastly, there's the GamerRGB, a 2.5-inch SATA drive with 256 GB capacity, the same PS3111-S11 controller, but RGB LED lighting. The company didn't reveal performance numbers for this drive.

GALAX unveiled its Hall of Fame (HOF) Extreme series limited edition DDR4 memory with a staggering speed rating of DDR4-5000. Featuring a gold-plated heatspreader, this 16 GB (8 GB x2) dual-channel kit ticks at DDR4-5000 with timings of 21-36-36-46, and at 1.50V. If that's a little too much to handle, there's also an identical-looking kit with DDR4-4700 speeds, with tighter timings of 19-26-26-46, at 1.50V.

There's also chrome/silver colored kit clocked at DDR4-4500, with 19-19-19-39 timings and 1.40V DRAM voltage, though it lacks the limited edition tag. Getting into the mid-range of this series, we find the HOF Extreme DDR4-3600 kit, with a similar design, but matte-white heatspreaders, 17-18-18-38 timings, and safer voltages of 1.35V. The gateway to this series is the HOF Extreme DDR4-3200, with 16-18-18-38 timings, at 1.35V, and a matte-black heatspreader.

GALAX Announces GPU Overclocking Products - Power Board and LN2 Memory Pot

GALAX is apparently on the verge of launching two GPU overclocking-specific products, materialized in the HOF Power Board and an LN2 memory pot kit. Built to increase overclockability in your graphics card of choice, the GALAX power board will allow you to feed the GPU with way more power than it is designed to receive - provided you have decent cooling for the increased temperatures and operating voltages. And with the caveat of whether or not your GPU manufacturer of choice allows such changes in voltage.

Galaxy Highlights Two GTX 1080 Ti HOF Models: The OC Lab and Limited Edition

At Computex 2017, Galaxy showcased two of its most premium graphics cards based on NVIDIA's GTX 1080 Ti chip. The GTX 1080 Ti OC Lab Edition features a Hall of Fame branded waterblock of appealing design, even if the colored power cables on the left of the unit do break the pleasing color scheme. The card features 3x 8-pin power connectors, for those of you who like to run wild with your overclocks. From the box, this card features a base 1569 MHz clock and a 1683 MHz Boost.

The second graphics card showcased by the company is the GTX 1080 Ti HOF Limited Edition, which makes use of the same 3x 8-pin power connectors, but sheds the waterblock for a triple-fan cooling solution. Strangely, this card features higher out-of-the-box clocks than the waterblock-equipped version, at 1645 MHz base and 1759 MHz boost. There is a LUMIN X branding on the cooler shroud, which indicates the usage of Galaxy's lighting system. It also features an LCD screen for graphics card status information, like operating temperature and current clocks and voltages.

KFA2 Announces the Fastest GTX 1080 Ti - The HOF "8 Pack" Edition

Premium graphics cards these days are a dime a dozen, and KFA2 seems to be a well-regarded AIB for some more exquisite designs based on NVIDIA graphics chips. Together with OverclockersUK, KFA2 is announcing the most premium of premium GTX 1080 Ti, the Hall of Fame "8 Pack Edition", which features a full custom design with KFA2's trademark aesthetics, triple 8-pin power connectors, triple-fan and triple-slot cooler an LCD display, and the highest stock clocks from any GTX 1080 Ti model so far - a base 1645 MHz with 1759 MHz boost and 1425 MHz memory clocks.

According to OverclockersUK, due to low yields of the cherry-picked GPUs that power these graphics cards, only 5 to 10 units are expected to be sold each month. The cards are currently available for pre-order with expected shipping date of May 26th... For the clean sum of £950. A premium pricing for a premium solution, indeed. If that pricing is a little to bold for you, you can opt for an "8 Pack Approved" graphics card, which is essentially the same package on a GPU with a lower 1607 MHz base, 1721 MHz boost, and 1376 MHz memory clocks. This one should retail for a more respectful £859.99.

GALAX GeForce 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Poses for the Camera - 16+3 Phase Design

This here is probably the most beautiful AIB partner card I've ever seen (and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you are naturally free to disagree with me.) The pristine color scheme and subdued backplate design really stand out for me, as does the white PCB. Nitpicking, I hoped the power cables would not be color coded as they are, but I guess that would invite disaster.
