be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components, is unveiling a brand new mainstream case series at the Gamescom expo in Cologne, Germany, from August 21st to 25th. Pure Base 501 is aimed at users who are looking for a very flexible case with compact dimensions and who appreciate a timeless, traditional design without ARGB features. The case supports motherboards with ATX, micro-ATX or Mini-ITX form factor and cooling is handled by two Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans in the front and rear of the case. Water cooling radiators are supported up to 360 mm and Pure Base 501 supports optional vertical graphics card installation. A decoupled double HDD cage is included for versatile storage options and the clever cable routing design keeps the interior tidy. Like its predecessor, Pure Base 501 is available in several versions: for maximum silence, the case is available in a black version with a closed front and steel side panel. Versions aimed at maximum airflow, with a mesh front and with or without windows side panel, are available in black or white. The cases are scheduled for a release in November and come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

be quiet! had quite a few products at the Computex 2024 show, including two new PC cases that will be a part of the Light Base series, the Light Base 900 and the Light Base 600. These are also the first PC cases from be quiet! with the so-called "fishtank" or "show case" design, or simply a fully windows front and side design offering panoramic view of all the hardware.

The Light Base 900, as the name suggest will also focus on lighting, including an included massive 1.5 m long ARGB LED strip, as well as bundled Light Wings fans (in the Light Base 900 FX version). It also has a rather interesting feature that allows it to be switched to inverted or horizontal layout, which means it supports left, right, and horizontal layouts. The feet can be easily removed and clipped onto the new bottom side. The Light Base 900 is a big case and supports up to an E-ATX motherboard, as well as comes with support for motherboards with backside connector design, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth. It also has a VGA holder that prevents graphics card sagging, which also works in any layout or GPU placement.
