Thermaltake have announced the Level 20 RGB Battlestation Gaming Desk, the ultimate gaming desk for gamers (certainly not) on a budget. The Level 20 includes an RGB lighting strip on the edges of the desk, for when you are feeling that particularly kaleidoscopic fondness, and want to cut on turning on your ceiling's lighting. The desk is electrically adjustable (a feature I've always found slightly underwhelming in the premium/usefulness department), with memory for a total of four different height adjustments - particularly useful if you had Tyrion pass by your house in the intervening time.

The RGB is software controllable (Alexa and Razer Chroma are supported), and the entire surface is adequate for (computer) mice to roll through. Its height can be adjusted between 70 - 110 cm, and the top is a 165 cm x 75 cm affair, which should be more than enough space for everything you're cramming on top of your desk right now. And if you want this piece of kit in your life, rest assured that it only costs $1,199. It's a matter of value, on your mind, as a customer. Just beware the shipping doesn't end up more expensive than the Battlestation itself: this thing weighs 75 Kg inside the packaging.

Thermaltake today rolled out the Toughpower PF1 ARGB of high-end power supplies. Available in three high-Wattage models of 850W, 1050W, and 1200W, these PSUs are characterized by their large 140 mm Riing Duo 14 RGB fans, and addressable RGB LED embellishments along both sides of the body, which together make up 18 diodes. To control the lighting, the PSU plugs into a 3-pin addressable RGB header of your motherboard or lighting controller. In the absence of external control, you can cycle through built-in lighting presets by pushing buttons at the tail end of the PSU, located sufficiently away from the main AC switch. Another switch located close to the AC switch, completely turns off the fan.

Aesthetics aside, these PSU have some serious chops: single +12V rail design with 80 Plus Platinum rated efficiency, full DC-to-DC switching, LLC digital control, 100% Japanese capacitors, active PFC, and most common electrical protection mechanisms against over/under voltage, over/under current, overload, overheat, and short-circuit. You get fully modular cabling, with all three models offering two 4+4 pin EPS connectors. The 850W model has up to six 6+2 pin PCIe connectors, while the 1050W and 1200W offer eight. Thermaltake is backing these PSUs with 10-year warranties. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Thermaltake today rolled out the Floe Riing RGB 360 TR4 Edition, a variant of this closed-loop liquid CPU cooler for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors. Although its pump-block has the same dimensions as the original Floe Riing series, the TR4 Edition features an enlarged, rectangular copper base for more coverage of the Ryzen Threadripper integrated heatspreader (IHS).

The cooler features a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator with three included Riing Plus RGB TT Premium Edition fans, which each spin between 1,000 to 2,000 RPM, pushing 26.35 to 54.42 CFM of air-flow, with a noise output ranging between 21.8 to 33 dBA. The three fans and the pump-block feature 16.7 million-color addressable RGB embellishments, which are controlled by the included addressable RGB LED controller. The cooler can handle high enough thermal loads to support 250W TDP Threadripper WX processors with high core-counts. TR4 is also the only socket type supported by this cooler. For those who need the most RGB goodness out of their radiator fans, Thermaltake has come out with the Riing Duo 14. Available only in packs of 3, these 140 mm fans give you a double shot of RGB LED lighting. There are RGB LEDs not just along the bore of the frame, but also the hub of the impeller. Twelve LEDs are studded into the frame, and six into the impeller; the eighteen LEDs, along with those of the other two fans in the set, take commands from an included TT RGB Plus controller. This controller interfaces with your software over a USB 2.0 header, and in addition to software control, supports Amazon Alexa. This is still a developing story, however it has matured enough to where we feel confident about discussing it. It kicked off last week when the proprietor of Mayhem Solutions Ltd, better known simply as Mayhems, shared information regarding Thermaltake introducing their own Pastel-branded coolants to be used in the PC DIY water cooling sector. Mayhems has had a trademark registered for this in the UK since 2015, and let Thermaltake know via email to try to reach an amenable solution. Indeed, EKWB and Alphacool had both used the Pastel trademark with Mayhems' permission in the past, some of which also came via using the Mayhems Pastel base under their respective brand names. After word from Thermaltake's legal team, first trying to defend the use of Pastel as a generic term, and then saying that they would work on a compromise, Mayhems told us they have not heard back from the company in over a week since the last correspondence, and are forced to take legal action to prevent Thermaltake P1000 pastel coolants to be sold in the UK.

We wanted to have due diligence in our reporting, and contacted Thermaltake ourselves for a statement. After receiving word that they will send us one, we too have not heard back from the company since. We respect Thermaltake's decision, and are always willing to update this post if they do send us one, but in the meantime we went further. Indeed, a careful look at the trademark (screenshots seen below) confirms Mayhem's legal stance on this matter. However, it is not easy to enforce a trademark in the court. It would be all the more harder to do so when there can be an argument made about the use of the term pastel, which no doubt Thermaltake would argue is not necessarily tied to the coolant, but more as the general term to showcase the various colors and the opaque-nature of said coolants. Thermaltake today introduced the View 23 Tempered Glass ARGB, an ATX mid-tower case characterized by a trio of addressable-RGB illuminated 120 mm intake fans dominating the front panel, and a 4 mm-thick tempered glass panel making up the left side. The front, while see-through, is made of acrylic since it features a non-flat surface. The three front fans' LEDs are plugged into a simple controller that cycles between lighting presets at the push of a button on the front panel; although you can plug them to an ARGB header for software control.

Inside, you get a conventional horizontally partitioned layout. The motherboard tray serves up room for graphics cards up to 36.6 cm in length (up to 26 cm if a radiator is mounted along the front intakes), and CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height. Among the other fan vents are a pair of 120 mm exhausts along the motherboard tray pointing outward from the right side panel, two 140 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. Thermaltake today introduced the first major redesign of the Core P3 chassis from 2016. Called the Core P3 TG, the case includes a curved tempered glass panel that you can either orient to cover the side and top, or the side and front. The 5 mm-thick glass panel features a curved edge, and bends 90° over a curved edge. The open-air ATX case can be oriented as a tower or sideways. Its expansion slots are arranged perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard, and you use PCIe riser cables to install your graphics cards.
