Thermaltake Launches the ToughAir 710 Dual Fin-Stack CPU Cooler

Thermaltake today launched the ToughAir 710, a premium dual aluminium fin-stack CPU cooler. Measuring 148.6 mm x 146.6 mm x 165 mm (LxWxH), the TA710 is a massive, heavyweight category cooler (with its weight expected to be around the 1 kg-mark). The cooler features a U-type dual fin-stack design. Seven 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes make indirect contact with the CPU over a base of the same material, with their ends passing through the two fin-stacks. These are ventilated by a pair of 140 mm fans in push-pull configuration, with the second fan nested between the two stacks.

Each of the two included ToughFan 14 spinners turns at speeds of up to 1,400 RPM, pushing up to 81.96 CFM of airflow at 1.81 mm H₂O static pressure, and 23.9 dBA noise output. The fans are rated for 40,000 hours of use. Thermaltake rates the ToughAir 710 as being capable of handling thermal loads of 250 W. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, LGA2066, LGA1200, LGA115x, AM5, and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Thermaltake Unveils LCD Panel Kits for Ceres 500 Cases

Thermaltake today unveiled LCD Panel Kits for the Ceres 500 mid-tower case the company had launched in January. The cases have a preparation for this optional accessory, but don't include them. The company released black- and white- color variants that match the variants of Ceres 500 cases you have. The LCD Panel kit replaces a portion of the horizontal partition of the case, with a 3.9-inch color LCD display panel with 480 x 128 pixels resolution, that faces the left side. This panel interfaces with TT RGB Plus 2.0 software over an internal USB 2.0 connection, and can be made to display just about anything. By default, its home-screen puts out weather data that TT RGB Plus 2.0 pulls from the Internet, but the screen can be made to put out real-time system monitoring stats for system cooling, among other interesting things. The LCD Panel Kits for Ceres 500 are expected to be available from March 16.

Thermaltake Releases SWAFAN RGB Radiator Fan Series with Easy Reversible Airflow Design

Thermaltake today introduced the SWAFAN 120 RGB and SWAFAN 140 RGB case fans optimized for used in liquid-cooling radiators. These fans come with easily-swappable impellers, and include two sets of them, each with a different airflow direction. You could just flip a case fan around to reverse its airflow direction, but that would expose the ugly reverse side of the fan hub with its regulatory markings and wiring sticking out, not to mention the pillars of the frame that hold the hub in place. This approach ensures you have just the impeller and its pretty RGB setup facing you. This is especially useful when you have the radiator sandwiched between two sets of fans in a push-pull configuration. The swappable nature of the impeller also makes it easy to clean these fans.

Both the SWAFAN 120 RGB and SWAFAN 140 RGB come in black and white color variants, and in packs of three fans that include an RGB controller. The fans feature hydraulic bearings rated for 40,000 hours. The fans each take in a 9-pin connection that resembles the USB 2.0 headers on the motherboard, which it uses for both power (main function) and RGB control. The included lighting controller is hence essentially a USB 2.0 hub that interfaces with the motherboard over a USB 2.0 header, and takes in a 4-pin Molex for additional power.

Thermaltake Intros Pacific TF3 Liquid Cooling System Dashboard

Thermaltake today formally launched the Thermaltake Intros Pacific TF3 Liquid Cooling System Dashboard, which it had showed off at the 2023 International CES. This contraption is designed to fit into a standard 120 mm fan vent, ideally one of the three front 120 mm vents of a case with glass front-panel, or the rear 120 mm exhaust facing forwards; and connected to your liquid-cooling loop. It has three analog gauges—one of which shows coolant pressure; the other the coolant temperature, and the third one the ambient temperature inside the case. The dials of these analog gauges feature an RGB diffuser, and so they can color-code the temperature reading in real-time, or be programmed like any other RGB object in your case. It has the same dimensions as a case fan, measuring 120 mm x 120 mm x 25 mm.

ATX 3.0 and 12VHPWR Flavor of the Season with Thermaltake's Latest PSUs

Thermaltake this CES updated its entire premium PSU product-stack with the introduction of several new models that meet the ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5 specifications; and come with native 16-pin ATX 12VHPWR power connectors that can deliver up to 600 W of continuous power, and tolerate excursions within the PCIe Gen 5 spec. The ToughPower iRGB Titanium comes in 1250 W and 1650 W capacities, and is 80 Plus Titanium certified. The 140 mm fans cooling these beasts come with 18 addressable RGB LEDs. Both models include two 16-pin 12VHPWR connectors, and support a feature-rich monitoring software from which you can also control the fan and its lighting.

The ToughPower PF3 comes in capacities of 750 W, 850 W, 1050 W, and 1200 W; offers 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, a compact 14 cm body depth, and at least one 16-pin 12VHPWR connector. The ToughPower GF3 ARGB series makes the new-generation connectivity more affordable, and comes in the same 750 W, 850 W, 1050 W, and 1200 W capacities, but with 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and an illuminated 140 mm cooling fan. The highlight here has to be the new ToughPower SFX series, which comes in high-Wattage 850 W and 1000 W models, purely SFX form-factor, offer 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, and at least one 16-pin 12VHPWR connector.

Thermaltake's Cooling Products Hands-on: Analog Dashboard, Stackable SwaFan EX Series, ToughAir Dual-Stack Cooler

Thermaltake unleashed a wealth of new PC cooling products across a whole range of form-factors and applications. The star attraction, though, is a cool new accessory the company calls the Pacific TF3 Liquid Cooling System Dashboard. This accessory is intended to be installed in place of the rear 120 mm case-fan, and plumbed to your DIY liquid-cooling setup. It puts out real-time analog readouts of the ambient temperature inside the case, the coolant temperature, and coolant pressure, through three analog gauges.

The company updated the stackable SwaFan line of radiator fans. These fans can be "joined at the hip" in clusters of up to three, so you can ventilate a 360 mm radiator without cables sticking out of each individual fan. With the SwaFan EX, the inter-fan "bridge" handles PWM power, as well as addressable RGB. Thermaltake made improvements to inter-fan coupling by leveraging magnetic joints (similar to a MagSafe connector); adding detachability to the impeller (making it easy to clean); and introducing two sets of ARGB LEDs (the first one inside the impeller hub, and the second one along the bore of the frame), with a total of 20 diodes per fan. The SwaFan EX comes in 120 mm and 140 mm sizes.

Thermaltake Pushes ToughRAM D5 RGB Memory to Higher Frequencies, More Color Options

Thermaltake's CES booth was lit up with a vibrant mix of illuminated enthusiast PC memory modules, from its ToughRAM D5 RGB series. The company is going beyond boring black and white heatspreader color options, and now has die-cast aluminium heatspreader in a number of colors, including gold, red, and turquoise. Even the usual black and white ones come with new printed patterns, under the ToughRAM D5 RGB XG series. The ToughRAM D5 RGB XG comes in speeds of up to DDR5-6600, and per-module capacity of up to 32 GB along with 16-diode RGB LED setup; whereas the regular ToughRAM D5 RGB ticks at speeds of up to DDR5-5600, up to 32 GB density, and a 6-diode LED setup diffused through a silicone band.

Thermaltake Shows Off the Tower 200: Puts on Weight with Room for the Latest GPUs

Thermaltake at the 2023 International CES showed off its latest original-design case, the Tower 200. This case was the centerpiece at Thermaltake's booth, and retains the iconic design of the Tower 100 cuboidal Mini-ITX case with that characteristic front-panel glasshouse. The Tower 200 was designed keeping in mind the increasing sizes of modern high-end graphics cards, and increasing cooling needs of today's high-end processors.

It is visibly larger than the Tower 100, and has been extensively tested to support all of the air-cooled custom-design NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards available (including the ROG Strix). The side-panels serve up even more room to mount radiators, including 280 mm AIOs, to keep your high-end processors cool. You can optionally buy an LED dot-matrix display that interfaces with software over USB 2.0, and can be made to display just about anything. The Tower 200 comes in black and white color options. The white is shown with a DIY liquid-cooling setup, while the black one has an AIO cooling the processor, and an air-cooled MSI RTX 4090 Gaming X (a fairly huge graphics card) installed.

Thermaltake Shows Off New CTE Case Form-factor to Enable Higher Airflow

Thermaltake in its CES 2023 booth, showed off a new line of PC cases that introduce its proprietary-design CTE (centralized thermal efficiency) "form-factor." Don't worry, you'll not need a new motherboard type to go with these cases. Thermaltake's idea here is to not just rotate the motherboard 90° clockwise (pointing all its I/O upward), but also position the motherboard tray itself toward the center of the case. This way, the front-, bottom-, and rear panels are dedicated entirely to fan-vents that can either be set up to maintain a high positive air-pressure, or hold onto radiators. On some of the larger models, there's plenty of room between the motherboard's top and the front-panel, so an additional column of fans (or an additional radiator) can be mounted along the vertical partition.

The CTE C750 Air is an example of a large case, with the CTE position of the motherboard freeing up four positions for radiators that are at least 360 mm and as big as 420 mm in size. This particaular case has two additional 120 mm mounts along the top panel, so a total of 14 fan mounting positions are opened up. The CTE C700 Air is a slightly lower-depth variant that lacks the side-mounted row, and instead gives you 3x 120 mm mounts along the front- and rear-panels; 2x 120 mm along the bottom panel, and a 120 mm along the top. The CTE C700 TG and CTE C500 TG are smaller cases still, but still have mounts along the front- and rear-panels.

Thermaltake Unveils the CTE Form Factor Series

hermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Case, Power, Cooling, Gaming peripherals, and enthusiast Memory solutions, is excited to announce the launch of CTE Form Factor Series at CES 2023. CTE, which stands for Centralized Thermal Efficiency, is focused on providing high-level thermal performance to critical components. The series includes CTE C750 Air, CTE C750 TG ARGB, CTE C700 Air, CTE C700 TG ARGB, CTE T500 Air and CTE T500 TG ARGB, giving plenty of options for your next build.

The CTE Form Factor Series breaks the conventional chassis design with its newly reimagined body created from the ground up by utilizing a 90-degree rotation of the motherboard, which provides more efficient airflow pathways. Such design gives the CTE Form Factor chassis a lead in cooling configurations. As the TDP of new graphics cards and CPUs increase, we thought to move the critical heat sources closer to intakes, achieving thermal extraction benefits as the CPU location has been moved slightly towards the front panel and the GPU closer to the rear, providing an independent cold air induction to your components. The overall approach has allowed CTE to provide better and more efficient intake airflow through the placement of main components and cooling, as well as optimization to heat extraction for the system.
