EK-FC Titan Z Water Block for NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z Released

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana-based premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce world first Full Cover water block for NVIDIA flagship dual-processor graphics card GeForce GTX Titan Z.

EK-FC Titan Z directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC Titan Z water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

AlphaCool Previews its Radeon R9 280X Water Block

Alphacool International GmbH, Germany announces internal testing results of the new GPU cooler. After the announcement of the custom GPU service Alphacool have been busy testing the final prototypes in the Alphacool TestLab. Below you can see the new solution fitted on the Sapphire 280x (Production version will have anodized black heatsinks).

In order to get accurate test results Alphaccol has invested heavily in a fully temperature controlled TestLab room. Below you can see the Alphacool TestLab setup, to remain un-biased Alphacool test their products with a variety of other brands. In the tests for the Sapphire 280x Alphacool used the TestLab to find the temperature differences between the stock cooler and the new custom cooler. The tests were ran with the card fully overclocked with the ambient temperature set to 20°C.

Galaxy GeForce GTX 770 HOF ICE to Feature Frosty White FC Block

Galaxy's HOF (hall of fame) line of graphics cards for overclockers is characterized by the company's unique choice of white colored PCBs. The company is giving final touches to a GeForce GTX 770-based graphics card that's prepped for liquid cooling, and comes with a factory-fitted, full-coverage water-block. The block is unlike anything we've seen before. Its top and fitment ports are frosty white, with a brushed aluminium accent along its center-right. The actual card isn't pictured yet, but something tells us that Galaxy could reuse the PCB of its air-cooled GTX 770 HOF. We're not sure who's behind the block, but given that EKWB designed frosty-white blocks for Galaxy/KFA2 cards in the recent past, Galaxy may have approached it for the goods. There's no word on when Galaxy will launch the liquid-cooled GTX 770 HOF.

EK Introduces NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (Ti) Water Block

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana-based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce a new value oriented water block for the NVIDIA Maxwell GM107 GPU based GeForce GTX 750- and GTX 750 Ti series graphics cards - the EK-FC750 GTX.

Due to variety of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (Ti) circuit board designs and no prescribed standard this water block directly cools GPU and RAM only in order to maximize hardware compatibility. Product features single-slot design to free adjacent PCI(e) slot and allow stacking of these graphics cards for high density computing application. EK-FC750 GTX water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

EKWB Unveils EK-FC R9-295X2 for Radeon R9 295X2

EK Water Blocks unveiled the first pictures of its full-coverage water block for AMD Radeon R9 295X2. It takes a meaty block to cool the 500-Watt dual-GPU monstrosity, which is also the fastest graphics card money can buy. The EK-FC R9-295X2 from EK is one of the few full-cover blocks that feature coolant channels that actually span the entire obverse length of the card. The channel is designed in a way that coolant is distributed uniformly to both the GPU systems, their neighboring memory, and the central portion of the card, housing its feisty VRM and PCIe bridge chip. The block comes in two variants, one with clear acrylic top over the two GPUs, with an aluminum central top; and one with opaque acetal top instead of clear acrylic. The two blocks come in two further variants, clear copper and nickel-plated copper block material. To top it all off, EK appears to either be bundling, or separately selling a single-slot expansion bracket for the card (a carryover from its HD 7990 block).

PowerColor Radeon R9 290X LCS Pictured

AMD's Radeon R9 290X is a great chip with sub-par reference cooling performance that's not just noisy but could also cool the GPU inadequately, making it throttle. With AMD allowing its partners to come up with non-reference design cards, most AMD Radeon add-in board (AIB) partners are pulling out their workhorses (think DirectCU II, WindForce 450W, TwinFrozr IV, VaporX Dual-X, etc). PowerColor has more fluid plans. The company could be among the first partners to come up with an R9 290X card that's ready for liquid cooling out of the box, the R9 290X LCS.

PowerColor Radeon R9 290X LCS features a full-coverage liquid-cooling block by EK Water Blocks, which besides the PowerColor LCS branding, is basically EK-FC R9-290X with the nickel-acetal top option. The block appears to be factory-fitted onto an AMD reference design PCB. PowerColor didn't mention clock speeds or pricing, although given the block's $145 aftermarket price, one can't discount the possibility of a $120~150 premium over the $549.99 pricing of the R9 290X. PowerColor could launch the Radeon R9 290X LCS, along with another air-cooled non-reference design card a little later this month.
