When launched, the block will likely come in two material options - exposed copper and nickel-plated copper; and a choice of clear acrylic and acetal tops. The block features a common coolant channel for the GPU and the VRM areas, and features a dense micro-channel lattice over the GPU area. The company may also separately sell a single-slot bracket for the card's display I/O.

As of now Aqua Computer offers six different water blocks for the NVIDIA GTX TITAN X graphics card. The kryographics for GTX TITAN X is CNC-milled from a 10mm thick high-purity electrolytic copper block and entirely made in Germany. The GPU, RAM and voltage regulators are covered by the block while the GPU area features a micro structure with a 0.5mm grid. All relevant areas are also covered by the flow path of the cooling liquid to provide an excellent cooling performance.

The contact surface of the base is high gloss polished. To gain the last bit of cooling performance the kryographics for GTX TITAN X allows using thermal grease instead of thermal pads for the RAM chips. For an easy installation the block comes with preassembled distance pieces so the screws can be tightened as far as they will go to achieve an optimal contact pressure. The block can be used with regular G1/4" fittings and the connection terminal offers threads into both directions. The regular connection terminal can be also exchanged with the optional kryoconnect adapters which can be used for SLI setups.

Koolance announced availability of its GeForce GTX TITAN X water block, the VID-NXTTNX. This full-coverage water block is made of nickel-plated copper, with a POM-acetal top, stainless steel inserts, and nickel-plated brass fittings. Weighing a little over 1 kg, the block cools all components on the obverse side of the PCB, including the GPU, the VRM, and the memory chips. The VID-NXTTNX is priced at US $129.99. To cool memory chips on the reverse side, Koolance is separately selling a functional back-plate of its own, the ACC-PLTNXTTNX. EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme represents the latest generation Engineered Thermal Interface (ETI) and fits neatly between a CPU lid and water block (or heat sink) to keep CPUs cooler. Unlike greases, metallic thermal interface pads or liquid metal alloys, Indigo XS is a self-contained and sealed structure, deploying a Phase Change Metallic Alloy (PCMA) which reflows and fills surface asperities on the CPU lid and heat sink.

With the GeForce GTX 980 HydroCopper, EVGA changed the "HydroCopper" brand. In earlier generations, HydroCopper denoted a factory-overclocked reference PCB, with a factory-fitted, full-coverage water-block, which you added to a liquid-cooling loop of your own. The new card comes with its very own closed-loop cooler, much like AMD's reference Radeon R9 295X2.

The card's cooler features a metal base-plate which conveys heat drawn from the memory and VRM, in part to the centrally located pump-block, and in part to an aluminium fin stack. A common lateral-flow blower ventilates the two. The central pump-block looks typical Asetek fare, with a pair of tubes driving coolant to and from the reservoir+radiator assembly, which is ventilated by a single 120 mm fan. The underlying PCB appears to be reference NVIDIA.
