Swiftech Releases Brand-New Apogee SKF Flagship Waterblock

Rouchon Industries Inc., dba Swiftech, today announced the release of their new Apogee SKF flagship waterblock. With overwhelming success from our Limited Edition Apogee SKF "Heirloom Series" which truly allowed customers to "Make it personal", we are now extremely proud to introduce the Apogee SKF - which follows in the footsteps of the award winning high performance Apogee XL2 featuring customization options that allows users to go beyond their limits. This new technology is at least one generation ahead of the competition and will be the foundation of Swiftech's next generation CPU waterblocks.

The Apogee SKF also features an entirely new cooling engine made of 125 micron (less than 5 thousandths of an inch!) thick slotted fins. The center piece is also customizable/replaceable. Out of the box, the Apogee SKF is compatible with all current and upcoming CPU's: From Intel's LGA 115x, 2011, 2011-v3 and 2066, to AMD's legacy AM2/3, AM4 and upcoming SP3/TR4.

Heatkiller IV Waterblocks for AMD Threadripper CPUs Go Up for Preorder

Watercool started development on their waterblocks for AMD Threadripper processors back in August. The brand made an announcement today on their Facebook stating that waterblocks are ready to come out of the oven. The Heatkiller IV waterblocks will come in three variants: copper, nickel, and nickel/black. All three models are available for preorder tomorrow. If you're quick enough to pull the trigger, you can also net yourself a nice 10% preorder discount. According to Watercool, the copper model ships on November 10th, while the other two remaining nickel models will start shipping on November 24th.

The full copper model is a waterblock aimed at copper lovers. It comes with an unique, huge Threadripper cooling plate made entirely of copper. The massive top is milled out of one solid block of copper. On the other hand, the nickel block caters to those who prefer a more glossy look. Both the huge cold plater and top are milled out of solid copper; then consequently nickel plated. Lastly, Watercool calls the nickel/black model the jack of all trades. The copper cold plate is nickel plated, while the top is manufactured from acrylic (Plexiglas GS) and comes with a black anodized aluminum cover. RGB lighting is present thanks to the preinstalled RGB LED strip which connects to the RGB LED headers on X399 motherboards through a black, paracord sleeved cable.

Alphacool Presents the Eisblock Flatboy Waterblock for Socket TR4 Systems

Alphacool has been growing their product portfolio immensely as of late, and now, the company is teasing the Eisblock Flatboy, the company's specifically-designed waterblock for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. Threadripper CPUs have one of the biggest surface areas ever encountered in a consumer processor; because of that, not all cooling solutions are appropriate to cool the up-to 16 cores and 32 threads monsters, with a higher surface area than normal being needed.

Still in the prototype phase, the Eisblock Flatboy integrates a reverse, silent flow pump system, like the company has already introduced on their Eiswolf product. The prototype as is seems to obstruct clearance for the rightmost DIMM slot to the left of the CPU socket, which shouldn't pose a problem for some people, but would be an extremely sore point for prospective buyers should that design decision overflow towards the final version.

EVGA Announces the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was designed to be the most powerful desktop GPU ever created, and indeed it was. EVGA built upon its legacy of innovative cooling solutions and powerful overclocking with its GTX 1080 Ti SC2 and FTW3 graphics cards. Despite the overclocking headroom provided by the frigid cooling of EVGA's patented iCX Technology, the potential of the GTX 1080 Ti still leaves room for one more card at the top...and man is it good to be the K|NG.

ZOTAC Announces the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm With Integrated Waterblock

ZOTAC, one of the most regarded AIB partners of NVIDIA, has announced their new take on the GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, offering a waterblock-integrated version of it. This looks to be a gorgeous graphics card, with LED illumination that I can get behind of: ZOTAC has what it calls SPECTRA lighting on this GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm, though sadly, only a few renders were liberated, so to speak.

Other than the integrated waterblock and the new SPECTRA lighting system, this is a GTX 1080 Ti as they come: it features the same 3584 CUDA cores and 11GB of GDDR5X memory. The clocks aren't pushing any boundaries either: the core will carry a 1506 base, 1620 MHz boost clock, while the memory clock stays untouched at the stock 11 GHz. However, it's likely you'll be able to push these cards much higher than that, considering the usage of a 16+2 phase design and a pair of 8-pin connectors. No pricing or availability were revealed, but expect to pay a pretty, pretty penny for this graphics card.

EK Waterblocks GeForce GTX 1080 Block Now Available

EK Water Blocks, Slovenia based premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce full-cover liquid cooling solution for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 series graphics cards, based on Pascal GP104 graphics processor. EK-FC1080 GTX is a new Full-Cover water block, designed for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition graphics cards. The block comes in four different variations and each of them directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas, thus allowing the graphics card and its VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. Performance-wise all variants of the block are the same, the only difference being the overall aesthetics. Each EK-FC1080 GTX water block covers the entire PCB of the card and with the corresponding retention backplate, users get visually stunning GPU in their system.

Every EK-FC1080 GTX water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design - just like with the flagship EK-Supremacy EVO CPU water block - for best possible cooling performance. Bitspower Releases New GeForce GTX 780 Waterblock

After the two new water blocks covered yesterday in dedicated posts (VG-NGTXTITAN and AIZ77ITXD), Bitspower rolls out yet another full cover water block, this time designed for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 reference cards. The new block comes in two versions, differing only in color, you get to chose between transparent acrylic (Clear) or black acrylic (ICE Black) for the top cover, the nickel plated base is identical for both versions and it's made of C1100 copper.

Bitspower Also Releases Their New Full Cover TITAN Waterblocks

These new full cover blocks from Bitspower, designed for the GeForce GTX TITAN, do arrive six months late to the party, the time period from NVIDIA's official TITAN launch, an interval in which every single competitor that planed to launch a TITAN water block did it already. In fact there are plenty of TITAN water blocks from a variety of vendors, populating the shelves of specialized shops, while the Bitspower blocks still haven't reached retail. Which does make one wonder, more so after the Bitspower AIZ77ITXD launch (a new water block designed for a previous generation Motherboard), is being consistently late to market a question of policy, or maybe style?

The Bitspower VG-NGTXTITAN full cover block comes in no less that eight variants, all differences between them being solely chromatic. The design of the block is fairly uncluttered without being plain, it features the Bitspower tribal logo and the product code, in contrasting colors, on the acrylic top cover. The base plate comes in two versions, copper or nickel plated, and is made from C1100 Copper.

New ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe Waterblock from Bitspower

Bitspower, the Taiwanese water cooling and modding specialist, recently launched the first water block designed for ASUS' previous generation mITX wonder board, the P8Z77-I Deluxe. While no longer the best mITX board on the market, the Haswell launch parade made sure of that, the P8Z77-I Deluxe did develop quite a following, particularly with the SFF crowd, selling in good numbers for its segment and making the rounds in a plethora of SFF projects that sprung on various enthusiast boards around the web.

The Bitspower AIZ77ITXD block makes use of high quality acrylic for the top cover and nickel plated copper for its base. The top cover comes in two versions, either transparent acrylic (Clear) or a semi-transparent black acrylic (ICE Black). The block's design approaches the full cover idea to a larger degree than any other motherboard block I've seen, accommodating all the heat generating components on the board, the CPU, the Z77 chipset and the vertical VRM as well. A design concept that Bitspower refers to as Unibody Style Construction Design (U.S.C.).
