Shape

The A900 is a medium-sized ambidextrous mouse with side buttons on the left side only. It's a fairly unique and uncommon shape, most reminiscent of the Razer Lancehead. The most notable design element is the back of the mouse, which flares out to a significant degree. The flare is widest at the bottom and progressively narrows until it merges with the main body. Towards the front, the sides are almost entirely straight horizontally, with only minor curves vertically. The hump is mostly positioned right in the middle (slightly to the back) and slopes down only to a minor extent towards the front, but quite abruptly towards the back. The hump isn't tapered, however, but extends across the entire width. Although the "butt" of the A900 isn't as voluminous as with the Cooler Master MM710/711, it still fills the back of the palm nicely. The main buttons have only very minor comfort grooves.

As for grip styles, I'd say the A900 is mostly suited for claw grip as its bulky back end naturally lends itself to that grip style. Fingertip grip and palm grip should be possible too, but most likely not as comfortable. Personally, I had no problems using the A900 in claw grip. For reference, my hand size is 19x10 cm.
