I'm not going to beat around the bush. The Adesso iMouse X3 is not a good mouse. The sensor, a SPCP-6653B, is not suited at all for gaming. PCS (perfect control speed, the speed up to which the mouse can be moved before the sensor malfunctions) is ridiculously low, and tracking quality notably poor. It's possible to make this sensor malfunction on the desktop just by moving windows around—no further comment required. Click latency is way too high, too. Additionally, the sensor is mounted at a significant angle, so if one wants the cursor to go right when swiping right, it's also necessary to hold the mouse at a significant angle to counteract the sensor angle. Holding the mouse this way for more than five minutes already gave me hand pain, which isn't necessarily what I would expect to get from an "ergonomic" mouse.

These two things—sensor performance and sensor angle—ruin what would otherwise be a decent mouse. The buttons are quite nice, the scroll wheel works without issue, the mouse feet glide reasonably well, and the coating is perfectly grippy. The weight adjustment system is done well too, and the base weight is not too high to begin with. Still, due to these two key issues, I simply cannot recommend this mouse.
