Installation

Installing the Aerocool P7-L240 is a rather simple affair. Start by attaching the proper mounting arms to the pump. Then, using the double-sided adhesive, secure the backplate to the motherboard.


Apply some thermal paste to the CPU, and, once done, attach the pump to the motherboard.


With that done, connect the pump and fans to the CPU fan header. If you are using the RGB feature, plug it into the motherboard, or, if the motherboard lacks that capability, use the P7-H1 Hub, which is sold separately.

The mounting hardware included with the Aerocool P7-L240 is very easy to work with. I would rate its installation a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest).
