Finished Looks
Aerocool's P7-L240 looks, like most other all-in-one liquid coolers, plain, though only at first. It features a black radiator, black tubing, and dual fans, which due to their slightly white appearance add that same high-contrast element many other designs feature. However, that's where the similarities end. The pump's design is attractive and unique with its hexagonal shape, and it and the two fans are LED-illuminated.
The extra wiring for the RGB feature makes things a bit messy; however, these extra wires will not pose a problem in a more traditional case as they can easily be hidden behind the motherboard tray.
As is typical of most all-in-one liquid coolers, clearance is exceptional. There are no obstructions around the socket to speak of, and as expected, the block and tubing won't get in the way of a graphics card in a mini-ITX system. Users can install whatever memory or graphics card they want without having to worry.
The Aerocool P7-H1 RGB Hub allows for control over the RGB LEDs on the P7-L240 cooler even if the motherboard does not support it. The software is simple, but works with no issues to report on.
While only a few samples of the LED illumination are shown here, users can pretty much pick any color they desire to match any system's theme. Overall, the RGB feature is rather well done, with both the pump and fans maintaining the same color with no variations in hue. Their RGB lighting can also be disabled should a user decide to tone things down.
